I have a “charity bag” hanging in my utility room. Every time I come across something to donate I chuck it in, then when the bag is full it goes in my boot until I drive near the charity shop. So much easier than regularly checking everything. X

Now I have a 2y old and a 5.5y old. 🙃 I get so much compliment over how organized and clean my house is and I'm like it's not that hard if you have a good routine. 😊 Whenever I fall out from this routine the house is instantly a mess in 2-3 days. My favourite organised habits was to find a way of organising meal prep and batch cook and have quiet time set alarms for daily reminders is a good way to make sure you’re getting up at the right correct times in the mornings all the time. I always set my alarms for 7am every night before I go to bed and it really helps me to have an hour to myself to get ready and being productive in the mornings too. I feel these 4 habits will definitely make me feel better happy and calm about the day. My favourite tip is to cleaning my kitchen and unloading my dishwasher and reloading my dishwasher because I feel it makes me feel happy whenever I have a clean kitchen and sink. Batch cooking and meal prep I find is so important because it saves you so much time in the week I always batch cook all of my dinners in the evenings so I have lunches for the next few days for being at home. Another thing which helps me to be organised and productive is to plan for the day and week ahead all the time. I try and do some work when I find a chance to have quiet working time at home too. I love your red dress / top so much because it made me feel happy and better. I need to start getting up early so I can focus on myself a little bit more in the mornings instead of getting up really late! I really don’t like it when I get up late in the mornings and makes me feel guilty and more stressed because I haven’t had done anything too. I get up around 7am, 6:45am or 6:25am in the mornings to give myself some time to focus on the day. Exercise or stretches every morning makes me feel healthier, flexible and less tense up in my body! Great video & tips. It was a lovely surprise to have a video from you on a Monday. It’s great that the boys help in the house. It teaches them responsibility. If possible, please could you do a video on weekly cleaning routines? I would find this so helpful.
Your dishwasher tip reminds me of how I tell my husband and boys to turn their clothes right side out before putting them in the hamper. It takes two more seconds to do it each time and it is so much better than having to turn every shirt and every pair of shorts right side out after it comes out of the wash. I also make my grocery list in the order I shop at the store (i.e. all the produce written together, all the dairy items, even random things I know are in the same aisle) :-)

We put on a playlist with some sing along songs and then do one room per song. We are always trying to get ahead bc there is always the kitchen. No Chance to do a messy kitchen in 3-4mins.
I have some unsolicited outfit advice and I’m very sorry if it comes across as rude. The white boxy sleeveless shirt combined with the very straight hair is so disharmonious compared to what you typically wear, including the other outfits in this video. The very bright white is conflicting with your warmer skin tone and the stiff straightness seems to be wearing you more than you’re wearing it. If it was more cream and slightly more relaxed I think it would suit you much more. Of course you are still lovely no matter what you wear and if you really love that outfit then please disregard me and my opinion!

We have baskets with ages on them. You could use bags I guess. We probably go through their wardrobes every school term as they grow out of them so quickly. Thank for watching xx

I remember you did a video of an example when you come home and just put your stuff down / left your coat on the bannister, shoes in the hall etc - then showed coming in & putting it away as you went and now I think of that whenever I come home and I’m feeling g lazy I’m like no do what Emily does and put it away as you go, Otherwise that’s another job youve gotta to do later on! I have some unsolicited outfit advice and I’m very sorry if it comes across as rude. The white boxy sleeveless shirt combined with the very straight hair is so disharmonious compared to what you typically wear, including the other outfits in this video. The very bright white is conflicting with your warmer skin tone and the stiff straightness seems to be wearing you more than you’re wearing it. If it was more cream and slightly more relaxed I think it would suit you much more.
Of course you are still lovely no matter what you wear and if you really love that outfit then please disregard me and my opinion!
