You don't have to play college ball to realize he's shooting from in front of his face and releasing the ball at varying heights causing the big misses long and short. His guide hand doesn't travel up with the ball at all causing the ball to roll off his shooting hand left or right which causes the big misses left and right. He does have a decent follow through though

NCAA, FIBA and WNBA line is 22ft 1.75 inches. The line Ludwig shot from is 19ft 9inches, the standard for high school basketball. The corner or sideline shots are the same distance in the WNBA and NBA.

Only in the NBA. What you're describing is the setup every non-NBA court has. That's why Ludwig's shooting from there, he just wants to do normal 3s, not NBA 3s.
College is further out (about halfway between NBA and top of the key). Not too many people seem to know what they’re talking about, all it takes is a quick google search. High school is top of the key.
