It always makes me so excited when you guys drop a new episode! Keep up the absolutely amazing work, Adventure Archives, and I'm so excited to see where you all go next!
So thrilled to be able to watch this installment while recovering from yesterday's day hike - we did 10 miles to Great Camp Santanoni in the Adirondacks! When we first started watching Adventure Archives, we loved hiking but never would have thought we could hike 10 miles. Thanks to all four of you for being such a great inspiration! (Our Camp Santanoni video will be out soon, for anyone who read this far and might want to see it!)
This is astronomical...I adore the Scenery. Those mountains and lake are beyond stunning. So blessed to see these beautiful areas...THANK YOU Robby and Thomas. 🙏❤🤗😍
I just got back home yesterday after spending a week in the mountains of northern New Mexico and southern Colorado. This video is fantastic for helping me ease back into reality.
I love those quick thunderstorms. It's frantic briefly but you can still enjoy the rest of your day. ... most times. Glad it worked out for you guys. You had some great scenery. Cheers!
The Collegiates have always been popular but 30 years ago when I lived in that area you might have the chance of camping at those lakes alone, definitely there would be available spots at most. Still gorgeous even if you don't quite have the ideal wilderness experience.
Would be cool if you could give some quick trail info at the beginning of the video, such as a trail map, distance, and elevation gain. Great video as always!
33:32 Dymonte Thomas! He’s a football player from my hometown in Ohio who played for the Broncos, that’s his training facility. As always, great video guys
YAY another new episode! Love y'all's videos so much! I watch your videos every day! I didn't know about the channel until May so I've been slowly working my way through all of the awesome content! 💚🌲💚 LOL Robby: "Thomas you are a persnickety person!" ... Thomas: "I am aren't I!" LOL
Great video and Awesome job on the background music. From Pensacola , Fl. love the Colorado mountains. Enjoy the interaction you guys have. Thanks for the adventure. Blessings
You guys , that was a really fun video. Gorgeous scenery and just a lot of fun comeradary. Always excited when I see a new video from you guys. Gobless❤❤
At 27:12 I 💭 Thomas was undressing for a moment😱🫣🤗🤣.He's a handsome enough fellow if course but I'm glad he didn't fill mother nature's eyes full🤭.Beautiful scenery by the way😄👍🏻.
You're probably a week away from the first snow! When I go to sea level I feel like I'm breathing under water. I've got energy, but the humidity seriously kicks my butt. Colorado doesn't not come in at the top 30 for humidity...even when it rains. Don't forget! With the tops of mountains comes heavier winds! Frankly, tents whipping around in the wind is not conducive to a good night's sleep! Come back and watch the sun shine while it snows! That is freaky! Next time you come, take the back road past Teluride and go over Lizard Head Pass. You'd enjoy that trip too.
In Washington, it seemed like most people hiked. The Mountaineers Club and REI were huge supporters of hiking, whether for day hikes or extended hiking. Funny story: while working in the Hocking Hills (72/73) my campers called the hills majestic. Funny! I said majestic is snow-capped.
HI ROBBIE & THOMAS 👋 BREATHTAKING BEAUTY SCENERY VIEWS COLORS LANDSCAPE VIDEO 📹 ✨️ GORGEOUS 🏕 CAMPSITE ! BE SAFE ☺️ 🙏HAVE FUN ☺️ 🙏ENJOYED ☺️ 🙏 GOD BLESS YOU ALL ALWAYS ON YOUR ADVENTURES ☺️ 🙏THANK YOU ☺️ 🙏
25:57 I got violently sick from an AlpineAire meal not too far where you guys were, in the Lost Creek Wilderness. I hiked out in the middle of the night and went home just in case I needed to see a doctor. I had the same experience where I tasted something in the seasoning that just didn't hit right.
Second comment, but I think a genuine hiking experience would be a really good friendship test and an excellent pre-marital test. You either are, or you ain't. Lol!
As much as I loved living in Colorado, the climate is harsh. It tired me out. The hail, the thin, dry, smoky, air, the laser like sun… I still miss it desperately though. Should move back?
I always wonder why you guys didn't bring some portable Thermacell Mosquito Repellent. It won't remove 100%, but at least it will significantly reduce the amount.
my favorite UA-cam channel for years. I will never understand why you guys aren't more popular on youtube.
Share…that’s how they grow viewers.
This channel + Mediocre Amateur are hidden gems
Welcome to LIFE kids, lots you will NEVER UNDERSTAND so stop worrying and live life!😊
So far 7365 views i think they are pretty popular. I don't think they are trying to win a popularity contest though.
So pretty in CO ❤❤❤❤
Love the dynamic between Robby and Thomas, you guys crack me up and I love the friendship. Keep on moving!
It's a travesty that this channel isn't more popular. The music was especially good this episode, Robby!
Welcome to LIFE kids, you cant control what others choose to like so spend mpte time worrying what you like and do!😊
You guys should have tons more subscribers. Best channel on UA-cam!
How many subs are in a ton? 1000?
Hard agree
Thanks for this great surprise - i am always so excited to see another video! Great music, too!
Keep up the awesome content! :)
It always makes me so excited when you guys drop a new episode! Keep up the absolutely amazing work, Adventure Archives, and I'm so excited to see where you all go next!
the landscape is so surreal
These landscapes are simply breathtaking! 🤩
Love this Odd Couple friendship! I ask myself why I watch these videos since I hate camping but you always remind me it's about the journey.

No idea why, but the way Robbie said 'bear' right at the end has me laughing so hard I'm wheezing.

Great ep as always, but I especially loved the song that plays when you hike out
I love those quick thunderstorms. It's frantic briefly but you can still enjoy the rest of your day. ... most times. Glad it worked out for you guys. You had some great scenery. Cheers!

Great music!
I think is one of your best videos - beautiful mountain scenery, funny conversation, good storyline, cool music, slick and well edited! 👍
another great Rob and Tom episode. what an incredible landscape
I must admit, at first I wasn't convinced about Thomas' misshape hat, but after a few videos it has grown on me.
Love the stormy vibe!
Been a while. You guys actually hike more than 2 miles a day now. Progress.
Would be cool if you could give some quick trail info at the beginning of the video, such as a trail map, distance, and elevation gain. Great video as always!
I agree it definitely would make it more of an archive video.

Just found this channel! Great hiking video 👍
Those mountains are def not bashful! I agree with Thomas!
thanks guys
Same here, favorite channel! Around what time of the year was this video made? Just asking because the weather seems perfect for a hike and camp.

Thanks for the video boys.
Good views!!
Lovely jaunt. Jaggedy rock...unless I have quick dry pants and a breezy day. Lol

Man that music in the beginning... I'm getting such FF12 vibes form it, followed by Super Mario Galaxy vibes and then FF12 again.
wow
11:51 and robby was never seen again. True friends are still friends through it all
15:05 Subtle fart. Hilarious that you left that Easter egg in the edit! 😂😂😂😂

Have you been back? Lost Creek was so nice.
@NLemessage oh yeah! The Wigwam trail is a favorite of mine.
@@GSXinTX did the 30mile loop last month. so fucking pretty... a bit harder then we were thinking but man it was worth it
Seen the static up there do interesting things to hair.
Beautiful guys 💚🌲👍🏼 we loved driving the Cottonwood Pass.
What was the song on the way out👌?
Let's GOOOOOO!!!
Give us a holler if you head up to the Fort Collins and/or Poudre Canyon area!
I was born in the darkness 😂😂😂
man vs. wild sierra nevada episode is a certified hood classic
I've just seen several of your Japan episodes crystal clear and this one is muddy with squars. Is it in my end?

34:31 Legend haha
The first two minutes of music!
☺️👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Bat car and a Bain reference in one episode
Enjoyed the hike, we love the music,
I always wonder why you guys didn't bring some portable Thermacell Mosquito Repellent. It won't remove 100%, but at least it will significantly reduce the amount.
Eat backpacker's pantry freeze dried.nothing else compares
Definitely not bashful.
Did you guys ever encounter with wild animals?
where's the pooch?
Where did Jeremiah Johnson live?
I hike 1m/hr. I don't feel so bad now.
Persnickety …. Hehe
Was this 2023 or 2024?
It's true, you were indeed going to hike to the top of a lake. No need to correct yourself about that!
In the South when it rains while the sun is shining we say the Devil is beating his wife with a frying pan. I don't know why.
A heavy pack will not help your breathing.
Is Robby doing a voice-over for an ultra liberal house candidate in New Mexico...Gabe Vasquez?
Sure sounds like him.
Men don't sleep in the same tent unless it's an emergency. What gives?
the music tho...why? smh
Y'all should have taken a 6 pack of Colorado Kool aid.
