Good production! What resolution are you recording at and which capture card? Your explanation around 5:55 is off. "preview original tempo" is Selected. Just uncheck that box and your good. This is an incorrect way to talk about the "Tempo" buttons. May want to add this your Description notes. You should also add to your Description notes that muting your Song Track files instead of deleting is productive in case you need to Revert to your original work. Cheers.
I’m using the Arturia minifuse 1 currently and I usually run at 48khz 24bit. But I have had good luck with 88.2khz 24bit also. Just depends on how much your computer can handle.
Thank you for your tutorial. For me you are the first teacher who explained the EZ keys tutorial in a way i can understand as senior. You are showing very clear every move you make not to fast, so i can follow it.👍👍 Real cool and understandable. Best regards from Holland.🎹🎵
Thank you so much for this video,...I am new to EZKeys,.. and just using Midi in general,. and its been a challenge to self-educate on this topic. Your video has helped me better understand some of the basic concepts and how I might be able to use EZKeys in my DAW (Acid Music Pro 11). Please continue this awesome content!!
After dragging the midi to your DAW track, you can right click and select MUTE in EZ Keys to prevent the double note occurring. My preference has been to keep the entire track inside EZ Keys, unless there are parts I am editing the midi notes to. And even then, I can record the edited bars back into EZ Keys to have the entire keys part together.
@@joshuabutlermusic cool. The editing advantages in EZKeys are worth keeping the midi inside of it for the most part. I only export (drag and drop) to a track in my DAW when I want the midi to be played by a different virtual instrument.
At the end, you've basically removed the release and re-press of the sustain pedal, which isn't right. It does smooth it out, but all the previously played notes will continue to play. The correct thing to do would be to release the pedal very close to the point where the next set of notes play (or even just a fraction after they start would be fine) - i.e. just move the left vertical line to the right a bit.
A good video. Efficient presentation, good production values. Also good visual aesthetics instead of the trashy settings of many YT videos. I find it easier to compose the song entirely in EZKeys and they transfer the entire song into my DAW for editing.
Hello, I'm playing with the demo now. Is there a way to arpeggiate around the chords instead of the more plodding rhythms I'm finding in the variations? I really want a "looser" sound and not just playing chords on the beats, rhythms, etc
Before you record the video, you should prepare some kind of a frame of what you are going to show. The whole thing seems a little unprepared, but the content is good.
Joshua, with the library ,did you have to buy all the different instruments one by one or when you buy one instrument, just buying other midi packs will give you the different instruments ?
Really dope tutorial. I was thinking of getting this plugin because I just heard about it recently smh. This plugin looks isnane cuz I cant write chords, I just know melodies.
You can add a midi library. I have quite a few midi loops inside of mine that I added. I’ve not made a video on it but toontrack has info on the website for the how to.

I'm actually working on a track this weekend with EZkeys and I'm going to give that a try. Thanks for the tip.

Great tutorial! Nicely done. You saved me tons of trial and error.

Nice bro🙆🏽♂️
That’s helpful ... thanks 👍

Hi there, great video. Quick question, how do I loop a midi block?
A good video. Efficient presentation, good production values. Also good visual aesthetics instead of the trashy settings of many YT videos. I find it easier to compose the song entirely in EZKeys and they transfer the entire song into my DAW for editing.

This is what I would call constructive criticism. Thank you so much for the advice. 😀
hi guys, how to use DAW and watch UA-cam on a browser at the same time?
because using DAW will mute all other softwares
Joshua, with the library ,did you have to buy all the different instruments one by one or when you buy one instrument, just buying other midi packs will give you the different instruments ?
The midi packs come with the other instruments. If you buy the midi packs alone they do not come with extra instruments.

I use it all the time just as a chord cheat code. Lol
HI MATE HOW CAN ADD MIDI LIBRARY ? I CAN OR NO ?
You can add a midi library. I have quite a few midi loops inside of mine that I added. I’ve not made a video on it but toontrack has info on the website for the how to.
