Danielle literally had a group of people warning her this was going to happen. She made herself into a victim, and continued it by driving 25 HOURS to confront him and drag herself back into it.

I was just about to comment about George and Anfisa You can see in the first showing that he was taking her on trips and buying whatever she wanted before her coming to America. She never lied about who she was or what she wanted and she clearly didn’t want to continue with the show because no one would show her side of the story. Just a gold digging crazy woman away from her family and friends, away from her country, with a man who was not only failing to provide but doing suspicious AF stuff behind her back.
Honestly Anfisa never lied about what she wanted. The editing made it look like she was just this lieing gold digger in the beginning but later they show how she was straight up about her expectations in the beginning and George lied to her to bring her to the US. That dinner with George’s sister where Anfisa walks away, is totally fair. Regardless of her arrangement with George, doesn’t give his sister any right to speak to her that way. Anfisa did Go really hard in retaliation to George which was a lot, but you have to consider where she was coming from.
She was def toxic but yeah can’t ignore that George literally lied about all his financials and made lots of big promises and then when she comes over he’s just an average Joe earning average money. She was clear from the start the lifestyle she wanted /expected and he lied about being able to provide it. I really want to know what George was thinking like did he really think she’d magically fall in true love with him once she got to the US and not care about the money.
Yeah Anfisa was absusive in the end which was wrong but Jeroge lied to her constantly while she was upfront that money was a big deal to her. It'd be like if I trapped a tiger and then was surprised when it attacked me.

Anfisa recently graduated from UC Irvine and (I think) is going to grad school. She’s been competing in body building competitions these past few years and overall seems to be doing great. Not surprisingly, her and George are divorced and he had a kid now with another woman. He was in jail for a minute too and has been out for about two years. It’s been a wild ride with those two but looks like everything worked out for the best.

Anfisa was made to look like a lying gold digger but Jorge and Anfisa had a sugar baby/daddy arrangement but Jorge lied about his finances and didn’t deliver. And then there’s Danielle and Mohammad, where yes, Mohammad was definitely in it for the green card, but Danielle lied about her finances in order to get him to move to the US. I remember her utilities were even shut off or something like that. Mohammad even went to an attorney to ask if Danielle’s debts would pass on to him if they married. And if i’m not mistaken, she actually catfished Mohammad. And then stalked him after he left her. There’s a lot of context missing from the clips. Everybody sucks here
By the way, in that scene where she's following him, Danielle did not know where he was staying. He'd never shared it with her, she went into their joint bank account and found his address. When they were married, even her daughters testified that she would throw him out of the house, and throw his things onto the front lawn during arguments. She'd lied about her finances in order to trick him into coming to boot. Their water was disconnected at one point.
I feel like both him and Danielle aren’t good people. I think if he wasn’t conventionally attractive I don’t think so many people would be sticking up for him. If she was an attractive woman people would feel more sorry for her.
Danielle seemed unstable throughout her time on the show. Mohammed definitely did wrong in the relationship but he is definitely the “lesser of two evils” in that situation.
My wife is from Mexico, and during her immigration process, they (the embassy, immigration, etc) essentially told her that if I cheated on her, abandoned her, or mistreated her, I would be arrested and she would be granted immediate citizenship. A decision to enter a relationship like that isn't something to be taken lightly, and I'm surprised more people on this show haven't been deported and/or arrested.

Yeah, I definitely recommend seeing the whole Danielle part before saying she's a victim in all this. She married him, THEN revealed she was nearing financial ruin, pulling him down with her. She pulled the whole pity party bit the whole time she was with him. Once he finally got away from her, she stalked him for a long time, refusing to even care for her kids.

Facts about 90 day fiance not being able to find new couples. I was in touch with a producer when I first was meeting my now husband. They wanted us on the show until I told them I couldn’t change my flights to what they wanted. Then they stopped communicating after I told them how I was excited to show how our relationship was real and how we genuinely love each other and have connected. They only want disastrous people for the views.
I could see this happening on the show. Many couples who started out a bit rough but became genuinely good couples never appeared on the show anymore. But the ones with the most drama either got their own shows or went on to get all of the focus of the show.

I want to go back and rewatch the Danielle and Mohammad episodes- I remember being surprised by how many people supported and excused a lot of Danielle's very unstable behavior. Anfisa went to school, got her Bachelor’s of Business Administration from UC Irvine. She also competed in NPC fitness shows. George and Danielle both lied a lot. As a German who moved to the US to be with her husband, it is so scary leaving your entire support system and country behind for a partner. I at least dated my husband for a couple years in my country and we lived together for over a year before he had to move back to the US. I’ve seen foreigners on 90 day fiancé and in real life who sell their businesses/everything they own in order to make the move to the US to be with their partner. Get mocked for their stupid decisions, told not to come crying back to their parents when their relationship fails, etc. It’s a huge risk. Then they come here and find out their partner lied to them. They have no money, live at home, no furniture, don’t work, etc etc. Sometimes one of those, sometimes all of the above. And if they lied about that stuff, what else? Who can you go to for help or at least a shoulder to cry on? They generally only have their partner. It would be completely terrifying.

When i got married 13 years ago, the whole budget was 1000$, which is alot of money in my country, we had a very simple and short official ceremony, then lunch with our 20 guests. That was it. We didn't even buy wedding clothing, i didn't wear a wedding dress, i had a simple dress, and my husband wore a suit he had for years. We also asked not get any gifts, we didn't want our guests to spend money, since stuff was and is expensive. We just wanted to enjoy our day. I don't understand the need for expensive and luxury weddings or parties.

You can see in the first showing that he was taking her on trips and buying whatever she wanted before her coming to America. She never lied about who she was or what she wanted and she clearly didn’t want to continue with the show because no one would show her side of the story.

Honestly Anfisa never lied about what she wanted. The editing made it look like she was just this lieing gold digger in the beginning but later they show how she was straight up about her expectations in the beginning and George lied to her to bring her to the US. That dinner with George’s sister where Anfisa walks away, is totally fair. Regardless of her arrangement with George, doesn’t give his sister any right to speak to her that way. Anfisa did Go really hard in retaliation to George which was a lot, but you have to consider where she was coming from.
She was def toxic but yeah can’t ignore that George literally lied about all his financials and made lots of big promises and then when she comes over he’s just an average Joe earning average money. She was clear from the start the lifestyle she wanted /expected and he lied about being able to provide it.

Anfisa recently graduated from UC Irvine and (I think) is going to grad school. She’s been competing in body building competitions these past few years and overall seems to be doing great. Not surprisingly, her and George are divorced and he had a kid now with another woman. He was in jail for a minute too and has been out for about two years. It’s been a wild ride with those two but looks like everything worked out for the best.

My wife is from Mexico, and during her immigration process, they (the embassy, immigration, etc) essentially told her that if I cheated on her, abandoned her, or mistreated her, I would be arrested and she would be granted immediate citizenship. A decision to enter a relationship like that isn't something to be taken lightly, and I'm surprised more people on this show haven't been deported and/or arrested.

Facts about 90 day fiance not being able to find new couples. I was in touch with a producer when I first was meeting my now husband. They wanted us on the show until I told them I couldn’t change my flights to what they wanted. Then they stopped communicating after I told them how I was excited to show how our relationship was real and how we genuinely love each other and have connected. They only want disastrous people for the views.
I could see this happening on the show. Many couples who started out a bit rough but became genuinely good couples never appeared on the show anymore. But the ones with the most drama either got their own shows or went on to get all of the focus of the show.

George and Danielle both lied a lot. As a German who moved to the US to be with her husband, it is so scary leaving your entire support system and country behind for a partner. I at least dated my husband for a couple years in my country and we lived together for over a year before he had to move back to the US. I’ve seen foreigners on 90 day fiancé and in real life who sell their businesses/everything they own in order to make the move to the US to be with their partner. Get mocked for their stupid decisions, told not to come crying back to their parents when their relationship fails, etc. It’s a huge risk. Then they come here and find out their partner lied to them. They have no money, live at home, no furniture, don’t work, etc etc. Sometimes one of those, sometimes all of the above. And if they lied about that stuff, what else? Who can you go to for help or at least a shoulder to cry on? They generally only have their partner. It would be completely terrifying.

When i got married 13 years ago, the whole budget was 1000$, which is alot of money in my country, we had a very simple and short official ceremony, then lunch with our 20 guests. That was it. We didn't even buy wedding clothing, i didn't wear a wedding dress, i had a simple dress, and my husband wore a suit he had for years. We also asked not get any gifts, we didn't want our guests to spend money, since stuff was and is expensive. We just wanted to enjoy our day. i dont know if you guys watched the full context of danielle and mohammed, but danielle was very toxic and obsessive towards him, iirc im pretty sure he broke up with her and moved on for a bit and she started stalking him; it was very concerning. even tho mohammed DID do wrong, for the most part i dont really blame him for some of the choices he makes. he defo did not need to stick around for as long as he did

This isn't a good way to make an informed judgement on Danielle and Mohammed. The lies, manipulation, lack of self awareness, literally locking him in a room, and the alleged hygiene issues; why should he stay with her 😅 I do feel bad for her because she's a bit of a mess and clearly doesn't recognise her part in the breakdown of their marriage and her embarrassment plastered all over international television, but if I had to pick I'd be firmly team Mohammed.

Danielle should’ve just cut her losses and had marriage annulled. Not stalk and chase him and force him back to her. She was tricked and should accept it as a lesson learned, instead she handled it terribly.
There is one, **one** defence I will make for Anfisa: as someone who lives in a foreign country with a language I'm only starting to get confident with, it's so stressful and you find you're isolated even more than if you had moved to a different city in your own country
