David went out with me for a month or so. 39 years ago I was 16 and he was 17. I have only just realised who he is now. He did not talk much. He seemed "different". I made him smile. The way he looked at me will never leave me. He was a lovely person. I was sad when I realised he was not coming to see me any more.
I am watching this to try to bring it all together. The Dave I knew in 1985, the White Ladder David Gray, and the legend he has become.
