This is one of the albums I listened to some 60 years ago while drifting off to sleep in my Mamaw’s crude attic. My family moved in with her for a while after my Papaw died. Mom had splurged and bought a record player and purchased some gospel albums. These hymns sung by Tennessee Ernie whom I tell people still today, “is to singing hymns as Billy Graham is to preaching” bolstered my faith and were forevermore seared in my mind and heart. How sweet it is that I am listening to them on my I-Pad this morning while having my breakfast. “Praise God From Whom All Blessings Flow”! AMEN
