As someone who recently had to use the 988 hotline for himself, this video hits hard and close to home. Watching SLB is one of the ways that I deal with things on a daily basis to keep me "normal" but it brings enjoyment on a subject that I love hearing about and feels like a "family". All I can say to anyone who is listening is to openly communicate with others, it's the hardest thing to do, but it makes all the difference. You are not alone in this, and while it's the easy way to keep it inside, talk to friends, talk to family, talk to a therapist, and there is....light at the end of the tunnel. On January 1st, 2024, I was ready to end it all but I'm still here today and in a much better place, and enjoying my bourbon and cigars on the weekend. Keep your head up and know that it does get better.....

Amazing testimony. I lost my first wife from cancer in 2009. They found the tumor while she was pregnant with our second child... my daughter is 17 years old now. It rocked all of our worlds for a long time, but she left behind an amazing legacy. Choose life always.

This story hits hard for me. My mother was diagnosed with meningitis while she was 2 months pregnant with me. They gave her a similar option, and she chose to bring me into the world. They took me at 6 months, and my mother didn't make it a year afterward and died in 1996. My son and I are both here today because of her choice, and I am forever grateful for that choice. Love you guys and the channel, prayers for love and strength ❤

As a infantry vet who’s seen combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. One thing my former career field has a lot of, is unalivings. I’ve lost more brothers from that than the actual combat. This video hits home for me. I wish you all the most success in your charity. I hope the money finds the cure to this.

Thanks for being so vulnerable and for the invitation. Everyone will at some point experience significant grief in their lives-I lost my Dad in 2009 and my wife and I experienced infertility earlier in our marriage. Though I’m 80 miles away from you guys, I felt like you were standing right in front of me as I watched this. Thanks for always giving us a window into your lives and good luck with the fundraiser!

Thanks for sharing. It's hard to lose people you love. As hard as it is, keep sharing your story. It has a huge impact and can hopefully save others from the same experience. Unfortunately, suicide has impacted me several times throughout my life.

I really appreciate you doing this. I’ve been supporting an organization called 22Kill for years who bring to light the suicide rate among vets and 1st responders. You doing what you are doing is amazing and I have no doubt it will make a positive impact on people. Stay strong.

Thank you for sharing this story. Tugged at my heart strings. I lost my little brother to suicide. I buried my pain and struggle with depression frequently. I have a ton of love around me though that keeps me going. I wish I was in a better financial position to help. I will continue to support your channel by watching, liking, and commenting.

Thank you for bringing to the light what can sometimes be too dark of a topic for people to talk about. It brings me hope to hear a man as kind as yourself share that kindness with the world through something like this.
I may have to bring the worst golf game Ohio has ever seen on over to your neck of the woods for this event.

This one hits deep. God bless your family, God bless this charity. Suicide is never the answer. You may not suffer anymore, but your suffering spreads to all who love you. Hug your loved ones, tell the people around you how much they mean to you. You never know when they need that little bit of reassurance.
