I never stopped using play rough because the I-frames are a huge asset in getting out of scrapes. Shadow claw might have done more damage but you could be hit too.

I mean hardly anyone uses shadow claw anyways because of how strong and unfair play rough currently can be. The invincibility isn't the issue. its the cooldown of the move and its damage that's the real issue. Not saying it should be easy to nerf but play rough does need some tweaks to its gameplay cause mimikyu is way too toxic with play rough in its current state and that's not healthy or good for the game. Its also why i would never play mimikyu currently.

There are certain items(attack weight for attack, aeos cookie for hp and sp.atk specs for special attack) that raise the stat in question by a fixed amount every time you score, stacking up to 6x. Attack weight specifically is one of the best items on almost every single allrounder, and its the one cris is stacking in this video. You can see the amount of stacks in the bottom right corner of the screen.

If you are playing with a team that has no front line or bulk then yes. If enemy team has lots of squishy Pokemon then shadow sneak instead regardless of frontline
