Love the triptych love all the negative space and I learned a lot about making it contiguous I am trying to absorb everything I learned by watching and listening to you thank you so much
Thank you very much for the details about tilting and stretching on large cavases. Learning things to do to keep control of the compassion. I am lookin forward to trying this.
Oh the ending is was so delightful, well done Jessica, simply gorgeous, minimalist with wo much interest. Now the only -problem is to find a wall big enough and a home grand enough to showcase this masterpiece.
Now this is me. Very strikingly EXQUISITE I love these Jessica. Mind blowing AWESOMENESS NESS. Namaste🙏 Thankyou for being here and doing what you do, you are truly an amazing artist.❣🦘🐭🦘❣
Thank you for sharing your extreme talent , it is enjoyable to watch from a board with white paint on and then watch each small addition of paint and movement. You certainly make it all look easy , but you inspired me some time ago with the swipes, and trust me , it is taking some practice, one day it's wow , love it and then the next time three end up in the bin.......... Love your work , it is truly inspiring Terry
I'm speechless!!! WOW...WOW...WOW!!! I'm honestly speechless!!!! This is beyond awesome, amazing, stunning, gorgeous and beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing your talent, creativity, expertise and time doing these videos xxx
Absolutely stunning. 💖 I just love to watch you create. I work with such thin consistency paints I have got to try this. Looks so difficult, I would mess it up for sure. You make it look so easy but I'm sure it is not. Again, just beautiful.🥰
Thank you so much! Yes, you do need thicker paint for this. Otherwise your composition will just sink immediately. It has a learning curve but the potential this technique has is just huge and it’s so much fun!
Thank you so much for your inspiration and great tips. Specialy about the pillow and the (not) attaching to soon. Makes perfect sence and thanks for sharing. I'm still experimenting with my pillow as wall paints are different in Europe. Love the paintings and how you managed to aline the three together 👏👏👏❣️
You are so welcome! Yeah, I know it's hard to find the right ingredients in europe. I just booked a flight to germany and hope to spend some time researching...
Aha…lightbulb moment! One of my pet peeves with fluid art is being able tell how the paint has been stretched…this completely makes sense…let the “compositioning” begin❤️. Beautiful.
@@biner59 I'm glad it made sense. The more you try to keep your composition 'unattached' the more you can play with it. the more it attaches to something the less free it is. kinda like real life...
What a talented Artist and a Teacher!!! Thanks god I’ve discovered your channel few weeks ago. Happy New Year and let your channel achieve 1mln subscribers in 2024!!!!!! Love from England
Well just magnificent. I've never seen such a huge triptych before. Whoever gets to own this is one very lucky person. You are so talented Jess. Btw... I was convinced your little dog was going to wee up one of them. Which may have provided the fluid art world with a brand new cell activator to work with. 🤣🤣
I Love it ❤️❤️❤️ How did you keep the piece on the extensions? I have four canvases this size that I’m working up the courage to do and this video has given me ideas on how to control the compositioning.
I don’t do anything to keep it down. Usually the weight and wet paint underneath sticks it down pretty good. Sometimes I even have to pry the canvas up because the paint glued it down so much. Big pieces don’t need too much speed… I hope this helped
Thank you! I use the glidden essentials for the pillow. Behr Dynasty deep base and varnish for the pouring medium. You can find the details in the description
Hi Jessica, absolutely lovely. I've been using your recommended house paint for my pillow. I get a lot of air bubbles! Either the white paint comes up to the point that it ruins my painting, or just a ton of air bubbles. When I poke them with a very fine tool, it leaves a "dent" or hole in the pillow. I would love some suggestions on what to do. Many thanks
Im struggling with consistency issues. My studio is in a basement that would be s cold room for beer and champagne in a large house. I keep thinking its all thin enough then nothing moves.i see with swipes you use lots of pillow so ive been doing that. Its really expensive paint I got for free to use as my pillow. But im really having a week of fails. Onlt when i goofed around with a split cup and some us flotral didvthe terrible results not make me cringe. Whats your rule on what the consistency of the different layers? Thx for your time!
Gosh, that s🌸cks! So, I want my pillow to be fluid but thick enough to hold the composition on top. It shouldn't sink down. The Paints are like honey when they drizzle down your mixing stick. They should form a mount that sinks after 3 seconds. Important is that they have a similar consistency. You can get away with a lot when swiping... I hope this helped a little...
@@WinterStromArt Cheers for taking the time. I have a housepainter nephew and hes working on fancy homes where they pay the most for everything Opulence by Sherwin Williams is the new almost FULL that im usiing for my pillow its FREE and i learned that its so thick I'm gonna thin it out.not with water over 30% water in acrylic / latex isnt recommended snd i do have US FLOETROL but I don't want to use it. Nice! Excellent job lining those up. And gorgeous composition, color. Just everything! Wow! 😍😍😍
Thanks, Millie! It was a little tricky but it worked well!
Omg...this piece is magnificent! I LOVE the composition.
I wish I could create something like this. Wow!
Just keep at it! You can do it
Wow, wow, wow! That is stunning! You should be very proud of that one! 🥰🥰🥰
I am very proud. Just the size itself was hard to tackle. When I saw the three pieces together for the first time I was very very very happy.
Oh, and…thank you 😘
Holy Cow. Really impressive work. Composition is spot on and the cemetery and flow of the 3 pieces is beautiful. Congratulations
Thanks, Carla! I’m happy you like it. It was so much fun to do

Absolutely stunning!!!! I think my favorite yet!! Congrats.
WOW, the line-up is perfect. I'm checking into your large spinner. And I love the cardboard? box it's in
Yay! So, I built myself a spinning table. It’s 5 feet in diameter and I added a border out of cardboard. Just taped it around it.

I feel ya. Same with me. That’s why I love spinning and tilting in combination next to playing with the amount of base paint.
I’ve never paid much attention to the pillow touching the edges of the canvas and anchoring the composition. Thank your for this tip.
