Is this route worth it? Is it required to run on 64 bits?

Route is surely worth it. I don't think 64 bit is required, but unless you're running it on a potato I see no reason not to run 64 bit.

I do mostly quicks and there is a nasty a.i train derail right out of Mojave that is completely unavoidable -- makes the route impassable. Take out the a.i trains and player train still will derail (or consist tilt -- ?) in the same affected area so I haven't seen this route through yet.

I might have had that. I remember doing a scenario twice and derailing at the exact same spot, no matter the speed. Not sure if it was this one though.
