I literally don’t understand why Tia got a divorce I think she thought the grass was greener 😮
She thought the divorce would bring her happiness but it hasn't. I think she's in denial about the fact that she may have made the wrong decision on a quest to finding herself. Time should heal, especially when you have made the decision best for you. She's constantly on the verge of tears. I believe she was hoping to have her Stella's got her groove back moment but it didn't happen. Crying 2 years in is also very telling. I hope she figures it out. Tamera is probably in the same boat as Tia but is an avoidant people pleaser. She will never leave all she knows.
Do people not understand that Divorce is paunful? Even when it's the right decision . It's still like acdeath. Yes, she's sad and crying. She's grieving.
I think the issue is why she got the divorce, it's not like she was being abused or anything. She isn't getting sympathy from the media because she didn't divorce for a good reason. It appears she just wanted out to explore being single, not realizing what she had.
@favoredt-real OH you have to be abused to get a divorce? Also emotional abuse is a thing. And wanting to be single is the very best reason to divorce. TF.
I am so glad I found this channel. I absolutely love the content in this channel. You guys have natural chemistry, you’re being yourselves and you can articulate whatever we’re thinking but we couldn’t articulate. And I feel like that makes it so enjoyable just chemistry and the content is not fluff

I feel like what happened was she realized he just wasn’t the man for her. Yes he can be a good man, but not necessarily for her. He might’ve not checked all of her boxes, but she was young and went with the first man that gave her attention. They probably grew apart and she admitted she got tired of living a lie. It happens to people everyday. Corey might’ve not been getting his needs met either, but just wasn’t brave enough to throw the family image away. I totally get it. I’m just glad she’s free from feeling like she needed to stay just for the kids and the public image. And I also feel like her tears are just her in an emotional roller coaster. Once she gets past the loneliness she will be fine.
Great review! New subbie! I do feel like some of Tia’s actions are contrived and very meme-driven. I felt like this even before her divorce

Tia is too Hollywood IMO. She tries to hard to be relevant and relatable, she sounds like alot of these woman with this feminist mindset. I think she wanted to have a moment where she got her lick back, but it backfired. The sad thing is she ruined her beautiful family because of it and now that all is done shes regretting it meanwhile Cory is flourishing. Her sister(not to compare) but is also flourishing because all the things Tia is against her sister is embracing and its clearly working! Woman need to wake up and see that all these new ideologies for woman are actually ruining them and the family structure. This was so unnecessary….

You don’t know what was really going on in the marriage- just because Corey is silent and Tia is not doesn’t mean anything. Leaving a marriage is hard and you had to be strong to decide to leave. You can’t fix something that the other person doesn’t want to fix. My husband was depressed but didn’t want to get any help but hid a year affair.

Hey y'all love your review. ❤️ First of Tia, nobody thought it was perfect. It ain't perfect anywhere. I think Tia is still very interested in what the public thinks even though she said she doesn't anymore and that might be because she stays trying to create an image for the public. Tia's emotional roller coaster is normal even though she called it quit, doesnt mean it doesn't hurt. I don't think Tia is a bad person, but she might be looking for the right things in the wrong places.

Tia's a mess. She says she wants to be known for her work and not the drama yet she's been monetizing her divorce for 2 years and now she's monetizing her estrangement with her sister. She threw away her marriage for likes on Instagram.
Yeah, Tia has "😮yes men"around her. She needs Tamera to give her real advice. Tia's wedding dress did not deserve to be burn. We saw there marriage for 15 years, and Cory was not terrible enough, if at all, to burn her wedding dresses. I mean she had the beautiful house, beautiful kids, the good husband....and she divorced a good life...
No she is not, she and her sister are beautiful people, she's human and has every right to feel, this show is therapeutic for her and for those who have been through what she's been through, it's her testimony, I have testimonies do you have any, God uses your pain to help others. Tia nor her whole family are known to be messy, she's living in her truth, what do you mean monetizing her divorce, are you jealous that she has it like that. where is mercy and grace, we live in a world with heartless people. I Pray Tia heals and empowers others to live in their truth and move forward.
reality show makes me so mad. I always get the "mind your business feel". they want to be private and want us to watch their shows. Nobody cares about Tia going to the club or her "yes men" team. We want to know what happened to her that qualify to get a divorce...
I'll give it a few more episodes to see if it suits my taste. For me, the first episode of a new series can sometimes be hard to gauge if it's worth the watch.
Tia told you guys why she got a divorce. When she made the announcement on her Instagram page on the beach. She CLEARLY said she wanted to live in her truth. So everyone has to watch her truth unfold. Word on the street ( Per Tasha K) she is allegedly dipping her toes in the lady pond. That actually would not be a shocker when you truly pay attention to her celeb crew that she has been hanging super tight with.
I have no plans to watch Tia’s show I do appreciate your viewpoint

I watched the episode. I do feel like she is dancing around what truly happened in her marriage. It sounds like she potentially got married because she thought that was the role she was required to play as a woman. I wish she would just be honest because she has capitalized off this divorce where as Corey never speaks about it.
It seems like she was in a one sided marriage based on what she was saying . She is allowed to say or not say what she feels . Her life experiences her choice
She answered it. Y’all just don’t listen. She felt lonely in that marriage and wasn’t happy since the beginning on her marriage. She stayed in the marriage but once her grandmother died she realized that life was too short
It sad bc she’s made it her identity. She the “woman who graduated from divorce” but we still waiting on the celebration 😂😂.
@@Rokia2003 why wasn’t she happy? If that’s the case, she should have never got married and should NOT look for another relationship as she is trying to do now. Happiness is a fleeting emotion and is our own personal responsibility as individuals to mitigate. If she thinks someone else will “make her happy” she’s truly delusional.

Listen to the podcast first, then decided to watch the episode. Tia wasn’t happy and Tia does want drama. She wants acting drama not that hard hip hop drama.. I enjoyed your breakdown, Blair. I felt from the very beginning The whole my sister and I are not close was just a gimmick to pull people in to watch the show. I paid attention to their body language when they gave interviews about each other. them being awkward on the red carpet was normal because when you’re getting a divorce, you aren’t going to be friends right away.

Been 2yrs since she announced the divorce.
I mean everyone is speculating because they went on a family vacation to Paris for a week and the next week she filed for a divorce from a 15 years marriage. Poor Cory, social media said he wasnt good enough for Tia "because he rode the bus 20 yrs ago" or he didn't pay any bills as a" millionaire actor" and/or he was cheating...
And why is Tamara not around and why are you and your sister not talking this is what the reality show should be talking about and what went on with your husband as to why you want a divorce just be honest because im not watching pass episode 3 if she keep this little dance up about everything
