Tony Harnell is certainly among of all time best voices in Hard Rock/Metal. What a voice!, He should teach to all those crappy multimillionaire POP singers of today.
Tony Harnell is the singers singer! His range and vocal articulation and tone has set the bar to challenge all rock singers to train more often study more and be proud of their vocal craft.
I jammed with Ronni Le Tekrø once! We were supposed to play this song, but wounded up just jamming in E-minor. I got him with me on some cool, improvised harmonies.
This is really something, it touches me deep inside, the strength, the power and the passion that these guys have had and still embody in full wake which has just grown and now is....my word....this is simply incredible, thank you for sharing (:

Knowing that Tony Harnell isn't singing for T.N.T breakes my heart! I'm a guy but I'm not gay, but still this song I've listened to so many times while crying over some girl that left me or one i couldn't get allthough I'm just 16! And I'm from Norway like Ronni. Anyway the new singer sucks! Tony Harnell belongs to T.N.T and god T.N.T fans miss him!
@sbrave Yeah but tony could always sing well. and so could axl live. i just meant he cant sustain the same way. And in the studio tony did not fix his voice one bit. You have to remeber singing in the studio is always easier. Plus his voice changed with age like all singers. In the studio you dont have to project much at all. Its sometimes better not to project and just get the most basic takes you can then put in your effects. The new digital reverbs let tony sustain easier is all
@MrZerox123 Most of those 80's guys weren't the best singers to begin with (Axl), plus smoking, drinking, drugs and just getting older ruins their voices after enough time. None of those guys can sing that stuff anymore, and a lot of them just pulled it off in the studio after enough takes....
Pretty sure the BV's are pre-recoded, but props to Tony for still having the range - This is the original key of the song. Many good vocalists can't still hit their former highs - even when they drop the key a few steps.
