Couple more quick things - cool new intro graphic - the other item - you mentioned that you have the shelf bolted to the wall - if you begin seeking z-wobble and unexplained layer shifts look at adding foam padding between the wall and the bolts - a firm mechanical connection and super rigid structure can cause these - the ability to allow a minute amount of motion and wobble of the machine to sling the bed properly - you could also add a foam padding between (think of gym floor) shelf and base of the printer
On the seams - tried random seam setting so it is not one conscious seam but each layer it is is a random position so it virtually disappears - also you can try scarf seam ( in beta in bambu slicer)
Good job on the Giga enclosure. I can't believe they stuck that USB stick right where you can kick it, makes me wince everytime I see it. I know I keep banging on about trying Eryone petg-cf... but surface finish would be great on a small Moai... should be no painting needed.
little wood filler and paint and you can close up the top of the head NP.... I have 7 printers and have been printing for a few years. Its a more recent thing for me and the filament getting stuck at the end of the roles. with my bamboo x1 with AMS I will come in and find the filament under tension stuck to the role. That AMS has some torque with pulling so its a problem not unique to you. With the Bamboo and my ender s1 pro when they run out though i have not had any issues swapping rolls and continuing the print. Regardless Love the videos and content keep up the good work :)
I had to fix a print as well that failed at the tippytipfuckidytop of a model's head You can measure it out as well when you measure the part to reprint Scraping off and neatening the bottom of the failed section with an industrial razor and a bit of sanding Little bit eye-balling to see if the reprinted part aligns Super glue and soldering iron Part fixed! :D
I never have issues with pla besides when I run out… But man PetG has been a learning curve….Finally getting decent results with it now. I had my first all good print with petg last night. I had to raise my temp to 255-260 on my creality. When I googled settings for it they said around 230 temp with fan off 🤔 not sure is something is off with my printer or what🤷🏻♂️

Since you have multiple units on these shelf’s it also helps isolate them from affecting one another

do you have a 3d pen? that might help without really seeing that there was a repair... just a suggestion

Saw a USB protector thing on printables for the giga, you might try that!, but yea gives me anx as well
Would love to see a life sized astromech in white PETG on the giga.
I find I get layer shifts on my P1S when the carbon rods need a clean

The 99.9% print failures sucks big time. Had a couple of those. Waved fist into the sky each of those times.
In bambu studio load the head and use the cut tool super simple. Did you see the Bambu HD2 leak?
I did yes. I still think the new one might have pellet extruder

3d print pen would fix that on the rino easy as.

Hell, I run PETG at 270 most of the time.
