      @@LuisEdGm They won't. First of all, he's a male, somewhat well off, the offense is sexual harassment, he is Japanese, and they are in the "entertainment" industry (like in media, not in that way). Japan, still being extremely sexist and lenient on sexual crimes, he'll probably get 5 years on probation, at most. They don't even put serial rapists in jail for more than 10 years, I doubt they would try for maximum sentencing for only sexual harassment.
      The victims would have a higher chance of winning in a lawsuit over any real justice from criminal punishment. And, with the number of crimes he's committed against so many people, it would be like 20 years in any other country.
      But since its japan, he'll probably get way less than that. Especially since this would require doxing vtubers in legal proceedings, who may not want to be doxed..

      Unfortunately laws don't work that way. He should very much be charged with poisoning/drugging at the very least, and considering how draconian Japan's drug laws are, it's likely that drug charges for importing a banned substance would result in far more of a chance of jail time than something like intent to commit SA. Medical doctor here. Clozapine (the substance used) is a serious medication. People don't appreciate how dangerous it can be if not prescribed properly. We literally have clozapine nurses run regular checks on patients taking the medication so that they don't die from constipation or the other side effects (this is not common practice for most medications). It is a very effective medication for severe schizophrenia that is resistant to other medications and I have seen it change lives for the better, but is only used as a last resort under close supervision due to its serious potential side effects.

      Bro, women have the worst dating preferences ever. It's not that men are perfect either, but women are a totally different league. Just think, while there are abundance of truly good yet always single men, but at the same time, I have never seen a criminal/gangster that had problem with getting women. For example, thousands of love letters from women to Ted Bundy (a ra_ist and killer of women), Jeremy Meeks, and even recently, women consider Wade Wilson hot, the ruthless m_rderer of 2 women sentenced to death in the United States in June 2024. In addition to the thousands of love letters (3903 only between June 12, 2024 and July 25, 2024) he has already received from women, there's a frenzy of women horny for him on social media, so much so that reports are already being written about women's fascination with him.

    The reason why this is seriously damaging to Nijisanji is not because of privacy violation (in fact, the reason why YAB gain followers is exactly because of that). It have to do with the break in "immersion". VTubers exist in the same culture as Idols, in that they're a "dream". Anything that risk to break that "dream" risk damaging the career of the VTubers/Idols.
    So in the same way that having a boyfriend will destroys any idols careers, knowing the true face and person behind the VTuber have the potential of ending their career, simply because their background could be exposed, which would break the idealised image that the VTuber had built.

    I really appreciate all that you do and the light you shine on things. We need more people like you who are unbiased and get down to the facts. I love that you got a Japanese fluent professional to assist.
    I do want to highlight the single issue I have with your content because I do enjoy your content as a whole. "this isn't being a creep anymore this is criminal" you've made this comment before in another video. Being a creep is often criminal. you're usually causing someone to distress and disturbing their peace by being creepy towards them. Like taking photos without consent in many places of the world is illegal and considered harassment, which is criminal. Even making sexual comments to someone in a professional setting is illegal in many countries, that is sexual harassment.
    I know it is not your intention but it minimizes the severity of "being a creep" when you phrase it that way. Because even just one sexual comment towards someone can make them feel unsafe and cause psychological distress. Which they then have to heal from.

    homeboy must've had a gigantic ego with hubris out the wazoo because you just do not fuck with idols (and by extension vtubers) in japan, *especially* not like this

      @SobreDunas 2 місяці тому +4

      I don't think it was ego, I think it was him being sure that, even if someone found out and reported it, it would not be able to damage his career in a substantial way

    • @FluffyMarsu
      @FluffyMarsu 2 місяці тому +1

      that goes from western, non Japanese people, yea. but they have an entirely different system that keeps victims from speaking out or THEY get blacklisted. you have no idea how many idols are made to just...take it. vtubers have more safety to be completely honest.
      Japan is still relatively misogynistic, most east asian places are. a lot of Japanese men feel like theyre owed stuff from women. especially if theyre in a position with more power over them, theyre career? they can become monsters.

    It's Japan, and they heavily downplay sexual crimes, so there's a like a 10% chance he'll get maximum sentencing, 20% chance he'll get a light punishment (probably 3 years probation if at all), and 70% chance nothing happens in criminal court (excluding civil cases like a lawsuit, which I hope NijiSanji does, even if its to save face).
    Even though drugging someone is (sexual) assault in almost every country, criminal court in Japan is very anti-women when it comes to SA or harassment.

    that drug is extremely cheap, 3000 jpy is like $25 or something, i don't know how much a date rape drug usually cost, but i imagine it's way more than $25

    • @McFwoupson
      @McFwoupson 2 місяці тому

      Benzodiazepines are some of the cheapest drugs around and prescribed very laxly in japan, so probably pretty cheap. Also clozapine isn't even really a date rape drug in any sense. Drugging somebody with it makes absolutely zero sense whatsoever. It's not an intoxicating substance, they will just experience side effects out of nowhere. That red spider product seems to be targeting date rapists who are also extremely dumb. Gross stuff

    • @OliDaChilla
      @OliDaChilla 2 місяці тому

      It is not a date rape drug, it's just viagra. GHB, a drug that is most often used for date rape but can also be used recreationaly, albeit with a much smaller dose, is quite cheap. Probably between $50-100 for 500ml, dependant on country, which would probably be enough for 50-100 "rape doses".

    • @McFwoupson
      @McFwoupson 2 місяці тому

      @emoaf8555 he probably just uses recreational drugs or finds them interesting. Anyone who knows a decent amount of information about them will know this kinda stuff. Realistically GHB is a lot more uncommon as a date rape drug than ppl think it is... very difficult to black out on the stuff since the dosing is suuuper finicky. If someone got drugged at the club and it was enough to not remember the night then they would fall on the ground immediately into a 3 hour deep sleep comatose like state... big issue in clubs where G is used recreationally due to people not being responsible as well as how incredibly finicky of a drug it is to dose.
      Realistically it's usually benzodiazepines... they're dirt cheap and can be bought in powdered for. Like there are grey market benzos that cause blackouts with 1mg or less... that's like a piece of sand. Happened to a friend of mine, went drinking and blacked out despite very little drinks and woke up with his belongings stolen.

    • @OliDaChilla
      @OliDaChilla 2 місяці тому

      @@emoaf8555 Nope!
      I just, unlike the guy in the video, read everything that was on the screen when he googled about it's effects on the body (the title of the article was about the effects of taking viagra as a woman);
      and regarding GHB I am just a responsible and careful person who looks up and researches everything about about a substance.
      GHB can be a safe and fun substance to use if one is EXTREMELY diligent and careful about the dosage but also extremely risky compared to others, since ODing can definitely really easily result in death.
      My estimates about a potential "rape dosage" are exactly that, an educated guess based on what a safe and unsafe dosage is.
      Nothing forbidden about that.

    The fact that drugs are allegedly involved makes me believe this will be taken VERY seriously. I know some people have their doubts when it comes to sexual assault cases, but Japan is usually really strict when it comes to drug related cases. I wouldn't be surprised if at the very least the guy gets blacklisted in the industry.

It has me for a head tilt big time considering it took them 4 years to now find out about this Yab guy doing this (WHICH I WILL AGREE ITS FUCKED UP AS ALL HELL) yet takes days to a few months for them to fire, harass others into quitting, or spread false info on former livers who "violated" their rules.
