Mags here, sound engineer for MC4 in the early days. Spoke to one of the bar staff after the gig. She said she'd been working for the Marquee for 7 years and she'd never seen a crowd as amazing as that. I rest my case. We also played here with The Things and Les Thugs, sold out. I'm not sure if it was the same gig or not. Memory is a bit fuzzy on that one. I think it was but hey!
