This song came out when I lost my father to cancer and helped me grieve through his loss and celebrate my love for him. , still moves me to this day . I will always love this band . Thanks ❤️
I have come to agree with you. When I was much younger Metallica were my favourite, but they went to shit years ago. Then Slayer were my favourite, but they just kept making the same album over and over. Megadeth were just too patchy- excellent when good, forgettable when bad. Three good albums in their career (Peace, Rust and Endgame). But Anthrax- so many good albums.
@@andrewthompson5208 Exactly the same path I went from fave to fave... Metallica got weaker & weaker through the 90s, Slayer got too samey, then Megadeth had a solid return to form in the mid 2000s but then started getting mediocre again in the 2010s just around the time Anthrax made a come back. Plus the quality of their albums has been the most consistent & still kick ass live \m/
What I like most about this song is the strength and ease that it gains until the end, the riffs de-stress you... it will never be fashionable, eternally timeless
I worked with John Bush on the Metal Allegiance tour. He was so polite and professional. I got to tell him he’s one if my favorite singers. It’s awesome to meet your heroes and they are good people. This is my wife and I song. Married for almost 24 years next month!!!
Finally? They’ve been re-telling their history in chronological order. Why would they need to mention Bush at any time before Joey is asked to leave? It’s not like they were never going to mention him, he was always going to “acknowledge” his tenure just like they’re going to “acknowledge” Joey coming back into the band because that’s what happens in the future.
@@Gregbaltzer From what I understand, they don't perform any Bush era stuff live, nor are the Bush albums on streaming platforms (at least they weren't, don't know if they are now).
@@badbirdkc They don't perform the Bush era stuff live because Joey's voice just isn't suited for the Bush era stuff. The did do Only. They wrote those songs with John's vocals in mind. Same as I wouldn't want Ozzy to try the Dio era stuff. And the Bush era stuff not being on streaming platforms has nothing to do with the band as they don't own the publishing rights, that would be the label.
Haters will hate... But John Bush was the *MAN* !! Look at his charisma on stage, his strength, the power of his voice... That dude gives me goosebumps all the time. And WCFYA is criminally underrated. It's a great album but people will just stick to that "no Belladonna, no Anthrax" dog shit. Your loss guys, maybe one day you'll realize....
This recent remembrance of anthrax’s history has led me to purchase every Bush era album. They should have been huge during these years!!!! It’s a shame that I wrote them off back then.
I wrote them off as well due to resentment for firing Joey, now all these years later like you I am discovering Anthrax music that's new to me. Sound of White Noise and We've Come For You All are fucking awesome!
This is such an amzing song from an amazing album. One of my favourites albuns of Anthrax!! And is criminally underrated!! i really don´t understand why it is not on any streaming platform!! I have the cd but sometimes I want to listen at work on in the streets... A shame how tey overlook such great album
i disagree. even had they kept joey, ANTHRAX's SONGS AND RIFFS GOT LAMER and more generic every record, because they wanted to be ON RADIO ala Metallica. all the Bush-era stuff is GENERIC. but I also hate all the Joey records except STD and Worship Music, b/c the rest, even ATL have WEAK SONGS.
The Bush era was the best point in this band's history. I'm glad they're still around in some form, and the past two albums were awesome ,but so sad that we'll never see this again. Imagine "Breathing Lightning" with Bush on vocals..... Oh, what could have been...
Actually happened to me he was in Seattle waiting on a cross walk light with his band in the 90's. I casually said out my window Keanu sup, lol. He said Sup! So i went around the corner to my bands studios parking lot because we were going to see Megadeth later that night. Studio was under ground and above it there was a bar/eatery and low and behold they had just taken a table outside on the sidewalk. Sat and bs'd with them for like 30 minutes. As every one says. Totally cool, totally down to earth dude.
THE BEST ALBUM BY ANTHRAX... with the best singer, i remember this like it was yesterday.... the "greater of two evils" also... caggianno is a guy that i miss to this day in this band!
Ohhh my goood I remember it was a Saturday and I was watching uranium on fuse if anyone remembers that channel lol and this video came I knew my love for this band would never die! Love all the eras of anthrax not one bad album or song in my opinion!!! Plus they killed it on married with children
Great album and great souvenirs too! My first Anthrax show in Montreal with White Zombie and VOIVOD opening this crazy, but amazingly crazy show that I will never forget. Especially the ''mush pit'' with those crazy stage dives like no tomorrow. I was so impressed by the intensity... Just a big WOW!!
After years of watching this video, I just realized this in store was at Rolling Stones Records in Norridge (or at least some place that looks just like it). Wish I'd been living in Chicago back then.
There's an audio issue in the breakdown with the drums. It's literally for part of a second but it is annoying when other videos on here don't have that problem.
Bush was one of my favorite singers before anyone really heard of Anthrax. I liken this era to the Chris Cornell RATM/Audioslave era. Good. Really good songs. But i prefer the singers in their original bands. Joey makes Anthrax Anthrax, and Bush makes Armored Saint one of the best metal bands to ever come out of the 80's by far. \m/\m/
I was drifting away from Anthrax on this album. Was heavily into Nevermore at this time still bought the cd .Never understood and still don't get the pentagram symbolism with Anthrax.

Anthrax is my favorite too, out of the 4, out of thrash metal and out of metal and maybe all music. Out Of Sight, Out Of Mind.

Rob Caggiano did some great solos for Anthrax.... this is a great example!

I was honestly expecting Keanu to be on stage with y'all for some reason. Still, great album
Canoe doesn't belong on stage, or the silver screen.
Eat shit, he's a great actor, breathtaking meme aside

He does belong on the stage! You are breathtaking! 😂
