Interesting video. I think a big flag, to follow a shamanic path, is that no matter how settled and calm people I meet are, or appear to be, my authenticity brings out the wounds and "shadows" of said people.
People continually confuse Shamanism with Animism. Shamanism is NOT found worldwide - but Animism is. Shamanism is almost entirely found in Northern Asia/Eurasia, Animism is found everywhere. If people read some proper material on the subject - and not New Age books, full of nonsense and errors - more people would know what shamanism actually is, and be able to discuss it. Here is an accurate definition of a shaman: A shaman is someone chosen by the spirits; and who can go into a controlled and repeatable, deliberate trance state. In this trance state they: [A] Experience 'spirit flight', where they go to the spirit worlds and meet spirits, who they either work with in alliance, or fight with, negotiate with, or trick in order to create change in this physical world. [B] Are often taken over by the spirits (normally ancestral shaman spirits, or local land spirits) while in this physical world - the spirits using the shaman's voice and body to heal, or give advice to members of the shaman's community. [C] In addition to [A] and [B] they also need to engage in ritualised magic or ceremony - which is based on an animistic understanding of reality - while not in a trance state. However practicing [C] alone does not make someone a shaman, as the trance aspect is essential.
My shamanic teacher said no one wanted to be a shaman in traditional Indigenous cultures. It was a very hard job; shamans usually died young. They were not rich or glamorous. They carried a huge responsibility in their community, and the only way to be called to be a shaman was to survive a near-death experience or to have a very powerful shamanic dream that had ot be verified by the elders in the group. Then you went through strict training for many years. You had to ask the ayahuasca planet if she would let her work with you my friend who is a Peruvian Born shaman. It took him 12 years before the plant allowed him. This is all too commercialized these days. Train with traditional elders for years and years required sacrifice.

While it holds true in many ways, it's important to acknowledge the diversity of shamanic cultures and initiation practices worldwide. There are numerous variations in how people are chosen by spirits and initiated into shamanic roles. While powerful dreams are common (amongst other signs) , near-death experiences (NDEs) aren't universal prerequisites in many traditions… but some traditions even require more specific signs than just NDE - for example, a striking light from the sky. It's true that a common theme among those with an authentic calling is the internal struggle and resistance they face in accepting their path, recognizing the sacrifices it entails. It's not merely a passing curiosity but a life-altering decision that demands deep commitment. However, years of practice don't define one's ability to practice shamanic arts… it can be very individual… having mentors, teachers, and elders to guide is always important and valuable in my opinion. As for the observation about shamans dying young in certain Peruvian communities, it's very intriguing. Wonder what would be the reason for that.. I know many shamans who are enjoying they wise age and are doing great so perhaps there is something specific that the other shamans are facing and type of spirits they are working with. I've also heard stories where shamans would have died if they abused their power and angered spirits so imagine all stories will have their unique background and context. I went through a rebirth vision after having my son 9 months ago which led to a dark night of the soul experience, I kept hearing 'initiation' felt like I was going crazy for a while, seeing energy, clairaudience being turned on was quite frightening , its taken a while to balance my energy, ground and get used to this 'new me' but I am grateful for the path I am on, I have started reiki and working on inner healing and balancing but I hope to help others with all I am learning on day. To be a shaman you have to go through 3 ego deaths. Sickness, near death experiences, lighting strikes. Life strips you of ego so can have hallow bones. Speak the truth voice. You don’t choose the path. It chooses you. And it’s a really really hard path. The difference between a healer/light worker and a shaman is a shaman is a door keeper. We can open doors to other words and help people go on journeys safely.

I totally understand the confusion - it can be overwhelming at the beginning! One of the tings I can recommend is to focus on developing a connection with just one or two spirits max that you can build trust with over time. Starting with animal spirits or your wise ancestors could be a good approach. If you're growing in solitude and don’t have a teacher to guide you, nurture these limited relationship carefully first. This will help you minimise spirit noise and enhance your discernment with any future spirits you connect with.
I always had a feeling that I was to become a shaman when I was younger ever growing up as a Christian. As a teenager I was so I to tarot cards, palm reading and etc. I found out I have spiritual guides. This is the reason why growing up, I always want to help people, love the health care and always feel like I never fit it. Through out the past 15 years it has been traumatic events after one another. I love two baby to still births,my older son was always sick, was very poor.

Thank you for a very interesting explanation. I don't have any of the signs you mention only pain in my heart for the suffering of this planet and all the animals and plants on it. The pain leads me to anger for not being compassionate enough to dedicate more time in service of the planet. It is hard for me to disappoint people who expect me to act normally. One thing though does happen to me. Not a good thing. Both my cats seem to need healing for one cause or another. As soon I start drifting away from this field of interest one cat or the other is getting sick and I need to go back to healing sessions. I know plenty of other people owning cats and they don't seem to have any problem with them. My two cats are still young but they have both little nagging health issue even though the cats are unrelated. Could be just bad luck.

The reason I was watching your vid/s is because the person who means the most to me moved into the spiritual realm last August and she is/was what I would define as a natural shaman - every box can be ticked in very thick permanent marker pen. I'm not entirely sure about in-person trainings in the USA that I can for sure recommend with full confidence. Shamanic trainings offer such a different type of learnings though. What is that you're looking to learn? For example, understand shamanism? Healing techniques? How to do shamanic journeys? How to talk to spirits? Not all the course offer these - they really vary in the content and support they give to students so just be aware of it :)

Everyone and their mother sister and brother think they're shamans. This is not something you identify. It is something your community identifies in you. All the signs listed here in this video are for people who feel called to some sort of healing art. Shamanism is not love and light. How many self-proclaimed "shamans" have truly done their shadow work? We need to be treating this with much more reverence than modern humans do. Creator Cole says a lot about this.
Thank you for bringing such a beautiful perspective to this. Many great shamans have indeed been appointed by their communities and families. However, I have met many excellent modern shamans who do deep work with their shadows and continue to do so, as well as many local 'indigenous' shamans who haven’t and continue to misuse their power. I’d say our judgment, including mine, has little value here. What truly matters is the genuine service these individuals provide to their communities through their medicine. It’s not about gatekeeping what we think is wrong but rather walking in humility as we, and they, work together to make this world a better place.

Spirt intrusion I did a smudge clearing in November 2021 and now got an angel down my toilet. I been the last two weeks emotional and Fitique and tiredness things going wrong one after another not going to how I planned out. If you can't have a personal session with me or someone else to help you, at least follow some of the steps I've mentioned to you. Also, good to see sea salt (you can add rosemary to it) for cleansing your home from spirit intrusion. It's really powerful too. But you may need to address the issue on different layers if it's that serious.
One key characteristic of the shaman is they are a vital protector to keeping their tribe fed, safe and well; with the special ability to access spiritual information. It is a life devoted to others, with the psychic ability to communicate in altered states, often with nature spirits, that can give vital information that helps the tribe.

I'm on a brand new path myself it all began when I was able to see holistic doctor and free myself from the parasites consuming me I'm glad that however your start fell upon you that you did start and you did listen and you are following the direction of the Divine I am so proud of you your light shines bright
I think the ancestral bloodline and/or past life factor plays a big role in this. According to an intuitive British lady named Magenta Pixie, souls that were previously incarnated in ancient tribes/communities worldwide who had conscious awareness of their connection to the stars, are now incarnated again within those family bloodlines (in a more modern guise). Their energy is needed at this crucial time of earth and humankind's transition. This also applies to people who have been born into families whose ancestors were either farmers, herbalists, priests, practising witches or warlocks (wizards), or gypsies/travellers. Included in this are not only people reborn back into the Aborigine bloodlines, various African bloodlines, the Inuits (eskimo), the Maoris of New Zealand, indigenous Hawaiians, Native Americans -- but also particular French bloodlines and the Celtic bloodlines (Irish, Scottish, Welsh). Personally, I've been born into an Irish bloodline (a very ordinary Irish family) and, in recent years, fairies/elemental beings have come into my awareness strongly. I've gone from having no belief in fairies, to having to accept them being around me all day, every day. They are with me right now. What's surprised me most about these creatures is that they are part-physical/part-spirit (they often touch my face gently with their hands, but they can also "float" themselves from A to B), have beating hearts (I hear and feel their heart beats constantly), are humanoid in form and are similar in height to myself. Never mind the silly Disney depictions of "Tinkerbell": it's been a revelation for me that fairies are actual *living* , semi-corporeal beings with beating hearts, minus wings (they don't need wings). They hear what I say to them (they respond with touch), but they are basically non-verbal. Their nature is very light-hearted, loving, affectionate, playful and loyal. Fairies are also healers and are especially adept at energy healing (similar to archangels, albeit less powerful than them) and the rapid healing of skin, e.g. cuts, burns, grazes. I wouldn't describe myself as having any "special abilities" (I'm normal), but I've always been sensitive to energies, atmospheres and people and I've had a few strange, unexplainable (paranormal) experiences over the years. I also feel more connected to, and more at ease with, the natural world, including animals, of course (especially cats, who, incidentally, just like dogs, are able to see fairies and spirits). 🙂I've often seen my cats suddenly purring with pleasure and "kneading the dough" with their paws in response to the fairies petting them. Fairies seem to reside within a dimension that's very close to our own (apparently, we are now living within a lower-4th-dimensonal reality that appears virtually indistinguishable from the 3rd dimension), but are bilocational (being in two locations simultaneously). I thought this information might be helpful, useful or interesting to someone else. 🙂

I have been on some sort of “path” for the last 40 years. For myself, it has all been about allowing and seeking the guidance from the “spirit-world”. What or who I have thought my spirit guide to be has shifted through the years and I don’t place any real focus on the “who/what”. As a surrendered soul and a open minded person working within my community as a regular guy, I am available to those I cross paths with. My greatest “super-power” is awareness. The only title that I would seek for myself would be ….artist. I don’t feel any pressure or weight form my path, I am not walking this alone, it is not mine, and there is nothing that I can’t handle with “ God’s” help.

I constantly keep experiencing very vivid dreams, and premonitions, like, I met someone once, and I saw her appear in a dream, she changed from bear to human and back, and I can see auras super clearly, a good reader of energy and I often feel timeless. I have too many synchronicities in life, that I can't explain, and I feel a calling, as I wake up, that I am open to corruption, and I am a peacemaker. A spiritual teacher. Like there is a higher purpose, a different being inside me and my mind. A master. My teacher. I am my own teacher. I am a Shaman.
Interesting! I was born an Irish man but I work with my Native American ancestors and would see myself as a Native American chief in my healings. My main guide is also a Native American chief. I’ve also seeing the incarnations I had as an indigenous shaman in several lifetimes. The work I do is journeying into the shadow of the client and the underworld rescuing fragments of the self etc. Can I call myself a shaman? It’s not really important as it’s all spirit at the end of the day. I’ve never read a book or done a course on shamanism I was born with the abilities to heal and travel to the multiple dimensions. Recently however I’ve began working with Christ Consciousness (Jesus & Mary) are present in almost every session now 🙏🏽✨🤲

Whether or not you choose to identify as a shaman is a personal decision. Finding love and joy in the smallest things always worked for me… also, nature… and finding peace in my heart… loosing people will happen, others will surprise you by sticking around, and new one will come your way. I think, at some point as healers will need to find a dialog with the modern medicine and bring the traditional doctors along as both shamanic and medical approach to healing can very well complement each other; but yes, nowadays it's hard to have the trust and it's not for no reason. In my case it's weird: I feel like being a shaman is something that would suit me and my talents, and something I'm very drawn to as well, but i don't have the feeling I'm gonna receive this calling in this life time. I don't have any ancestor who has been a shaman, I think I might have been one in a past life though. Maybe in this lifetime I need to get closer to this world to familiarize with it, for then maybe becoming shaman in a future lifetime
It's completely normal to feel drawn to the shamanic path and sense a deep resonance with its practices and teachings, even if you don't feel a direct calling in this lifetime. Exploring these interests and talents is a valuable part of your spiritual journey, regardless of whether you ultimately become a shaman in this lifetime. Essentially, embodying the role of a shaman isn't the sole means of answering the call to journey closely with spirits and nature. The idea of ancestral lineage isn't the only way to connect with shamanism either. Many individuals feel a strong pull towards it due to past life experiences or an innate affinity for its principles. Perhaps your soul has carried shamanic wisdom from previous incarnations, guiding you towards deeper exploration and understanding in this lifetime. …honouring your intuition, follow your heart, and allow yourself to be guided by the wisdom of your soul ✨

Thank you for your question. I think that while there may be similarities between a shamanic awakening and a kundalini awakening, they are distinct experiences with unique characteristics. In a shamanic awakening, one typically experiences a deep spiritual transformation that involves connecting with spiritual allies, ancestors, and guides. The shamanic journey often involves venturing into other realms to receive knowledge, wisdom, and healing. In contrast, a kundalini awakening is often described as a powerful surge of energy that rises from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, leading to profound spiritual experiences and states of consciousness. …both experiences are highly personal and can manifest differently in individuals. While they may share some similarities, they are not necessarily interchangeable or limited to specific traditions. They can also happen both at the same time, or one can trigger the other, however, I'm not convinced that shamanic awakening is a way to channel kundalini awakening. Ultimately, the best way to understand these experiences is through personal exploration and firsthand experience. That's why it's very difficult for me to have one solid opinion that would speak for all. I never heard of a shamanic awakening until I read a book on different types of awakenings last month. Then a week later I was learning about Gene Keys and one of my Gene Keys is #33 was the Medicine Woman or the shaman-embodied. I was so shocked and not quite sure what to think about that but it felt like the universe was guiding me to this knowledge. So I have been trying to learn more about what a shaman is. I have had SO many dreams in my life. In one dream I was some kind of healer in a past life but I was labeled a witch and I died in the dream by jumping off a tall building because I did not want to be burned at the stake. I also have had a few NDEs as a kid. One when I was 6 after i stuck a fork in an electrical outlet and another at 12 when I fell out of a tree but I was saved by the WIND. That was when I first started to hear spirit. They told me I have a mission. One thing they said to me a couple years ago was, "the time for fun and games are over and its time to do the work to be the boots on the ground." So I said to them, ok what do I need to do. They said, "You will know when the time is right." 🤔 So I am doing my best to follow their guidance but its not easy trying to figure out this puzzle I have been given called life. My spirit guides been telling me I'm a shaman for a while now. I ignored them. Got a reading from a shaman and started. They insisted and said my guides are insisting. But im being resistant. I'm now excepting it but don't know where to go

In short, "medicine woman," "seer," and "witch" are not exactly the same, although there can be significant overlap in the roles and abilities associated with these terms. The distinctions between them largely depend on their diverse cultural, spiritual, and historical contexts, which can vary across different regions and time periods. To give you a general idea without oversimplifying, a medicine woman primarily focuses on healing, acting as a spiritual leader within her community, and leading ceremonial aspects of life. On the other hand, a seer is someone who is believed to possess the ability to perceive or predict future events and gain hidden knowledge through extrasensory perception or divination practices. Seers are often associated with clairvoyance or other psychic abilities. As for witches, they are individuals who engage in witchcraft, which involves utilizing magical or supernatural powers to influence events, cast spells, or connect with spiritual forces. This is so crazy that I’m even lead into listening and drawn to these things... I’ve just had an extreme traumatic event from an intimate relationship with a narcissist, it only lasted 8 months... my life is upside down, no doctors can figure out what’s wrong with health. It’s been a year now, and I know for sure this is now a spiritual illness. My cat has changed, I only talk to 3 people now, all my family died and my best friend. I’ve been isolating for a year now by choice, the collective energy is so crazy that I want nothing to do with it (and it’s programming). I cannot watch tv or listen to music anymore. Artificial sounds are nothing me, such as graders and car alarms, and they seem to keep expanding into “more of” my nerves are buzzing and vibrating constantly. I have never had health issues in my 49 years of life here. Am I experiencing an initiation in your opinion?

Hello, I had a weird experience after smoking cannabis a couple months back. I went on a journey inside my mind and my body that took me to a "place" that I somehow knew it was the place from which all things come out of. It was total stillness and infinite and I saw a geometric pattern that my mind associated in the shape with an angel and which I keep finding around me. In that place, I saw something that looked like a library where everything that exists was put on shelves and ordered. One of each kind. (search the matrix scene with the weapons hall, except it was only one, not many of each) .I felt the most love and weirdly at the same time I had the feeling of death, but it was ok, it was so beautiful. The depth of the enormity of that love and of the silence from that place and my inability to completely feel that was turning into the death feeling. Also while being there, I had this feeling of...something is about to happen, these things are about to move, but they aren't YET. When I "returned" here , that peace and silence slowly started to dance and exponentially turned into the loudest noise possible, and from that noise - beam I was right here back. Does this ring a bell to someone ? I made some drawings of that experience, if anyone is interested please let me know and I can share. It's an experience that influenced my life a lot, I now am convinced that after I die there is something else, I dunno what, but that's how I feel. After this experience, I had a synchronicity the SAME DAY. A friend came to my place and we ended up talking about my experience. One thing led to another and we reached the scene from Interstellar where the character goes into the black hole Gargantua, and I couldn't believe the amount of similarities between my experience and that scene from the movie. It's mind boggling. If anyone has any insight into this or has gone through something similar, please let me know. I would highly appreciate it.

Encountering death or the void is a frequent experience, as a form of initiation, for many I think… but ofc this could be your unique journey that meant to have something in it just for you. The library is very intriguing too, perhaps, it's where the wisdom is kept and now you have an access to or, perhaps, it's where your life stories or your past lives have been filed and stored. In my dream a golden eagle landed on my left shoulder. There was no pain. The Eagle began to rub against neck and face I felt LOVE like I've never felt before in my life. I believe that the eagle is now my friend and guide
I have a lot of these and have felt like I have been on this path for a long time . I believe I have shamans in my ancestors. I know my grandfather Is my spirit guide, and I believe a great aunt or grandmother is also one.

I was histerical talking to my mom on the phone and there was a dead silence, and a Spanish voice who sounded like an old lady came on to tell me my son will be alright and they are with him then it switched back to my mom And i asked her if she had hung up and she said no she was on the phone the whole time. I'm able to communicate to my ancestors since then , and thankyou for your channel ❤️🙏
Travel to a tradition it exist. Mostly nepal, asia, Mongolia, theres mudang korean shamanism. Abd if you have a claling you don't have a choice you become sick and may even die or other may become sick

If you're seeking regular mentoring and teachings without extensive travel commitments, there are many reputable teachers available online, including indigenous and authentic practitioners. It's advisable to listen to various teachers and discern if their wisdom resonates with you on a heart level. Trying their services, if possible, can also provide insight into their approach and compatibility with your journey. If you're just starting on your path and still undergoing initiation, I suggest seeking a teacher who is supportive of your journey and needs, rather than solely focused on imparting teachings. Ultimately, there are numerous paths to accessing shamanic knowledge and wisdom, and what works for one person may not be the same for another but you developing your connection with spirits will be the key, and many great teachers will focus on helping you with this. Hi Jose, not quite.. most of all, it's the spirits who choose who they want to work with, without them there isn't much for a shaman. Shamans gets chosen by spirits. Community can be helpful in recognising the gifts and guiding the person into the calling or validating the work of a shaman and appreciating/supporting his or her work. Today's world also operates differently to how indigenous communities operated in the past so that will also be reflected in how one will hear the calling. A shaman it's just a label that is used to simplify the category of people who work with spirits to heal and maintain balance between the two worlds. I wouldn't be so attached to it as a term as in reality each tribe, community across the globe will have a different term they will use and there will be different type of shamans too. Oh yes, I absolutely agree! That's the hardest part for me I would say because it makes relating to people so hard.
People continually confuse Shamanism with Animism. Shamanism is NOT found worldwide - but Animism is. Shamanism is almost entirely found in Northern Asia/Eurasia, Animism is found everywhere. If people read some proper material on the subject - and not New Age books, full of nonsense and errors - more people would know what shamanism actually is, and be able to discuss it.
Here is an accurate definition of a shaman:
A shaman is someone chosen by the spirits; and who can go into a controlled and repeatable, deliberate trance state. In this trance state they:
[A] Experience 'spirit flight', where they go to the spirit worlds and meet spirits, who they either work with in alliance, or fight with, negotiate with, or trick in order to create change in this physical world.
[B] Are often taken over by the spirits (normally ancestral shaman spirits, or local land spirits) while in this physical world - the spirits using the shaman's voice and body to heal, or give advice to members of the shaman's community.
[C] In addition to [A] and [B] they also need to engage in ritualised magic or ceremony - which is based on an animistic understanding of reality - while not in a trance state. However practicing [C] alone does not make someone a shaman, as the trance aspect is essential.
My shamanic teacher said no one wanted to be a shaman in traditional Indigenous cultures. It was a very hard job; shamans usually died young. They were not rich or glamorous. They carried a huge responsibility in their community, and the only way to be called to be a shaman was to survive a near-death experience or to have a very powerful shamanic dream that had ot be verified by the elders in the group. Then you went through strict training for many years. You had to ask the ayahuasca planet if she would let her work with you my friend who is a Peruvian Born shaman. It took him 12 years before the plant allowed him. This is all too commercialized these days. Train with traditional elders for years and years required sacrifice.
Thank you for sharing the wisdom passed down to you by your teacher. While it holds true in many ways, it's important to acknowledge the diversity of shamanic cultures and initiation practices worldwide. There are numerous variations in how people are chosen by spirits and initiated into shamanic roles. While powerful dreams are common (amongst other signs) , near-death experiences (NDEs) aren't universal prerequisites in many traditions… but some traditions even require more specific signs than just NDE - for example, a striking light from the sky.
It's true that a common theme among those with an authentic calling is the internal struggle and resistance they face in accepting their path, recognizing the sacrifices it entails. It's not merely a passing curiosity but a life-altering decision that demands deep commitment.
However, years of practice don't define one's ability to practice shamanic arts… it can be very individual… having mentors, teachers, and elders to guide is always important and valuable in my opinion. As for the observation about shamans dying young in certain Peruvian communities, it's very intriguing. Wonder what would be the reason for that.. I know many shamans who are enjoying they wise age and are doing great so perhaps there is something specific that the other shamans are facing and type of spirits they are working with. I've also heard stories where shamans would have died if they abused their power and angered spirits so imagine all stories will have their unique background and context.

I went through a rebirth vision after having my son 9 months ago which led to a dark night of the soul experience, I kept hearing 'initiation' felt like I was going crazy for a while, seeing energy, clairaudience being turned on was quite frightening , its taken a while to balance my energy, ground and get used to this 'new me' but I am grateful for the path I am on, I have started reiki and working on inner healing and balancing but I hope to help others with all I am learning on day. To be a shaman you have to go through 3 ego deaths. Sickness, near death experiences, lighting strikes.
Life strips you of ego so can have hallow bones. Speak the truth voice. You don’t choose the path. It chooses you. And it’s a really really hard path. The difference between a healer/light worker and a shaman is a shaman is a door keeper. We can open doors to other words and help people go on journeys safely.

I totally understand the confusion - it can be overwhelming at the beginning! One of the tings I can recommend is to focus on developing a connection with just one or two spirits max that you can build trust with over time. Starting with animal spirits or your wise ancestors could be a good approach. If you're growing in solitude and don’t have a teacher to guide you, nurture these limited relationship carefully first. This will help you minimise spirit noise and enhance your discernment with any future spirits you connect with.
I always had a feeling that I was to become a shaman when I was younger ever growing up as a Christian. As a teenager I was so I to tarot cards, palm reading and etc. I found out I have spiritual guides. This is the reason why growing up, I always want to help people, love the health care and always feel like I never fit it. Through out the past 15 years it has been traumatic events after one another. I love two baby to still births,my older son was always sick, was very poor.

I don't have any of the signs you mention only pain in my heart for the suffering of this planet and all the animals and plants on it. The pain leads me to anger for not being compassionate enough to dedicate more time in service of the planet. It is hard for me to disappoint people who expect me to act normally.
One thing though does happen to me. Not a good thing. Both my cats seem to need healing for one cause or another. As soon I start drifting away from this field of interest one cat or the other is getting sick and I need to go back to healing sessions. I know plenty of other people owning cats and they don't seem to have any problem with them. My two cats are still young but they have both little nagging health issue even though the cats are unrelated. Could be just bad luck.

I'm not entirely sure about in-person trainings in the USA that I can for sure recommend with full confidence. Shamanic trainings offer such a different type of learnings though. What is that you're looking to learn? For example, understand shamanism? Healing techniques? How to do shamanic journeys? How to talk to spirits? Not all the course offer these - they really vary in the content and support they give to students so just be aware of it :)

You dream experience is very interesting. Are you aware of any healers in your family?
Everyone and their mother sister and brother think they're shamans. This is not something you identify. It is something your community identifies in you. All the signs listed here in this video are for people who feel called to some sort of healing art. Shamanism is not love and light. How many self-proclaimed "shamans" have truly done their shadow work? We need to be treating this with much more reverence than modern humans do. Creator Cole says a lot about this.
Thank you for bringing such a beautiful perspective to this. Many great shamans have indeed been appointed by their communities and families. However, I have met many excellent modern shamans who do deep work with their shadows and continue to do so, as well as many local 'indigenous' shamans who haven’t and continue to misuse their power. I’d say our judgment, including mine, has little value here. What truly matters is the genuine service these individuals provide to their communities through their medicine. It’s not about gatekeeping what we think is wrong but rather walking in humility as we, and they, work together to make this world a better place.

Also, good to see sea salt (you can add rosemary to it) for cleansing your home from spirit intrusion. It's really powerful too. But you may need to address the issue on different layers if it's that serious.

I'm on a brand new path myself it all began when I was able to see holistic doctor and free myself from the parasites consuming me I'm glad that however your start fell upon you that you did start and you did listen and you are following the direction of the Divine I am so proud of you your light shines bright
I think the ancestral bloodline and/or past life factor plays a big role in this. According to an intuitive British lady named Magenta Pixie, souls that were previously incarnated in ancient tribes/communities worldwide who had conscious awareness of their connection to the stars, are now incarnated again within those family bloodlines (in a more modern guise). Their energy is needed at this crucial time of earth and humankind's transition. This also applies to people who have been born into families whose ancestors were either farmers, herbalists, priests, practising witches or warlocks (wizards), or gypsies/travellers. Included in this are not only people reborn back into the Aborigine bloodlines, various African bloodlines, the Inuits (eskimo), the Maoris of New Zealand, indigenous Hawaiians, Native Americans -- but also particular French bloodlines and the Celtic bloodlines (Irish, Scottish, Welsh).
Personally, I've been born into an Irish bloodline (a very ordinary Irish family) and, in recent years, fairies/elemental beings have come into my awareness strongly. I've gone from having no belief in fairies, to having to accept them being around me all day, every day. They are with me right now. What's surprised me most about these creatures is that they are part-physical/part-spirit (they often touch my face gently with their hands, but they can also "float" themselves from A to B), have beating hearts (I hear and feel their heart beats constantly), are humanoid in form and are similar in height to myself. Never mind the silly Disney depictions of "Tinkerbell": it's been a revelation for me that fairies are actual *living* , semi-corporeal beings with beating hearts, minus wings (they don't need wings). They hear what I say to them (they respond with touch), but they are basically non-verbal. Their nature is very light-hearted, loving, affectionate, playful and loyal.
Fairies are also healers and are especially adept at energy healing (similar to archangels, albeit less powerful than them) and the rapid healing of skin, e.g. cuts, burns, grazes. I wouldn't describe myself as having any "special abilities" (I'm normal), but I've always been sensitive to energies, atmospheres and people and I've had a few strange, unexplainable (paranormal) experiences over the years. I also feel more connected to, and more at ease with, the natural world, including animals, of course (especially cats, who, incidentally, just like dogs, are able to see fairies and spirits). 🙂I've often seen my cats suddenly purring with pleasure and "kneading the dough" with their paws in response to the fairies petting them. Fairies seem to reside within a dimension that's very close to our own (apparently, we are now living within a lower-4th-dimensonal reality that appears virtually indistinguishable from the 3rd dimension), but are bilocational (being in two locations simultaneously). I thought this information might be helpful, useful or interesting to someone else. 🙂

Keep in mind shamanism is mostly in asian region, some in certain indigenous traditions like sapmi Noaid, inuk tradition, amazonian tradition has its own thing. But irish did not have shamanism and there are different types of healers other than shamanism.
People continually confuse Shamanism with Animism. Shamanism is NOT found worldwide - but Animism is. Shamanism is almost entirely found in Northern Asia/Eurasia, Animism is found everywhere. If people read some proper material on the subject - and not New Age books, full of nonsense and errors - more people would know what shamanism actually is, and be able to discuss it.
Here is an accurate definition of a shaman:
A shaman is someone chosen by the spirits; and who can go into a controlled and repeatable, deliberate trance state. In this trance state they:
[A] Experience 'spirit flight', where they go to the spirit worlds and meet spirits, who they either work with in alliance, or fight with, negotiate with, or trick in order to create change in this physical world.
[B] Are often taken over by the spirits (normally ancestral shaman spirits, or local land spirits) while in this physical world - the spirits using the shaman's voice and body to heal, or give advice to members of the shaman's community.
[C] In addition to [A] and [B] they also need to engage in ritualised magic or ceremony - which is based on an animistic understanding of reality - while not in a trance state. However practicing [C] alone does not make someone a shaman, as the trance aspect is essential.

I have been on some sort of “path” for the last 40 years. For myself, it has all been about allowing and seeking the guidance from the “spirit-world”. What or who I have thought my spirit guide to be has shifted through the years and I don’t place any real focus on the “who/what”. As a surrendered soul and a open minded person working within my community as a regular guy, I am available to those I cross paths with. My greatest “super-power” is awareness.
The only title that I would seek for myself would be ….artist. I don’t feel any pressure or weight form my path, I am not walking this alone, it is not mine, and there is nothing that I can’t handle with “ God’s” help.

I constantly keep experiencing very vivid dreams, and premonitions, like, I met someone once, and I saw her appear in a dream, she changed from bear to human and back, and I can see auras super clearly, a good reader of energy and I often feel timeless. I have too many synchronicities in life, that I can't explain, and I feel a calling, as I wake up, that I am open to corruption, and I am a peacemaker. A spiritual teacher. Interesting! I was born an Irish man but I work with my Native American ancestors and would see myself as a Native American chief in my healings. My main guide is also a Native American chief. I’ve also seeing the incarnations I had as an indigenous shaman in several lifetimes.
The work I do is journeying into the shadow of the client and the underworld rescuing fragments of the self etc.
Can I call myself a shaman? It’s not really important as it’s all spirit at the end of the day. I’ve never read a book or done a course on shamanism I was born with the abilities to heal and travel to the multiple dimensions.
Recently however I’ve began working with Christ Consciousness (Jesus & Mary) are present in almost every session now

Whether or not you choose to identify as a shaman is a personal decision. Finding love and joy in the smallest things always worked for me… also, nature… and finding peace in my heart… loosing people will happen, others will surprise you by sticking around, and new one will come your way. I think, at some point as healers will need to find a dialog with the modern medicine and bring the traditional doctors along as both shamanic and medical approach to healing can very well complement each other; but yes, nowadays it's hard to have the trust and it's not for no reason. In my case it's weird: I feel like being a shaman is something that would suit me and my talents, and something I'm very drawn to as well, but i don't have the feeling I'm gonna receive this calling in this life time. I don't have any ancestor who has been a shaman, I think I might have been one in a past life though. Maybe in this lifetime I need to get closer to this world to familiarize with it, for then maybe becoming shaman in a future lifetime
It's completely normal to feel drawn to the shamanic path and sense a deep resonance with its practices and teachings, even if you don't feel a direct calling in this lifetime. Exploring these interests and talents is a valuable part of your spiritual journey, regardless of whether you ultimately become a shaman in this lifetime. Essentially, embodying the role of a shaman isn't the sole means of answering the call to journey closely with spirits and nature.
The idea of ancestral lineage isn't the only way to connect with shamanism either. Many individuals feel a strong pull towards it due to past life experiences or an innate affinity for its principles. Perhaps your soul has carried shamanic wisdom from previous incarnations, guiding you towards deeper exploration and understanding in this lifetime.

Just a quick question, if I may. A lot of things you say sound like a kundalini awakening. I was wondering whether you think that the shamanic awakening is a specific way to channel the kundalini energy, in contrast to certain Vedic traditions for instance, or whether it is something different.

Thank you for your question. I think that while there may be similarities between a shamanic awakening and a kundalini awakening, they are distinct experiences with unique characteristics.
In a shamanic awakening, one typically experiences a deep spiritual transformation that involves connecting with spiritual allies, ancestors, and guides. The shamanic journey often involves venturing into other realms to receive knowledge, wisdom, and healing.
In contrast, a kundalini awakening is often described as a powerful surge of energy that rises from the base of the spine to the crown of the head, leading to profound spiritual experiences and states of consciousness.
…both experiences are highly personal and can manifest differently in individuals. While they may share some similarities, they are not necessarily interchangeable or limited to specific traditions. They can also happen both at the same time, or one can trigger the other, however, I'm not convinced that shamanic awakening is a way to channel kundalini awakening.
Ultimately, the best way to understand these experiences is through personal exploration and firsthand experience. That's why it's very difficult for me to have one solid opinion that would speak for all.
Would love to know your thoughts, especially if you have some experiences that would bring a different perspective on the subject.

I never heard of a shamanic awakening until I read a book on different types of awakenings last month. Then a week later I was learning about Gene Keys and one of my Gene Keys is #33 was the Medicine Woman or the shaman-embodied. I was so shocked and not quite sure what to think about that but it felt like the universe was guiding me to this knowledge. So I have been trying to learn more about what a shaman is. I have had SO many dreams in my life. In one dream I was some kind of healer in a past life but I was labeled a witch and I died in the dream by jumping off a tall building because I did not want to be burned at the stake. I also have had a few NDEs as a kid. One when I was 6 after i stuck a fork in an electrical outlet and another at 12 when I fell out of a tree but I was saved by the WIND. That was when I first started to hear spirit. They told me I have a mission. One thing they said to me a couple years ago was, "the time for fun and games are over and its time to do the work to be the boots on the ground." So I said to them, ok what do I need to do. They said, "You will know when the time is right." 🤔 So I am doing my best to follow their guidance but its not easy trying to figure out this puzzle I have been given called life. My spirit guides been telling me I'm a shaman for a while now. I ignored them. Got a reading from a shaman and started. They insisted and said my guides are insisting. But im being resistant. I'm now excepting it but don't know where to go

In short, "medicine woman," "seer," and "witch" are not exactly the same, although there can be significant overlap in the roles and abilities associated with these terms. The distinctions between them largely depend on their diverse cultural, spiritual, and historical contexts, which can vary across different regions and time periods.
To give you a general idea without oversimplifying, a medicine woman primarily focuses on healing, acting as a spiritual leader within her community, and leading ceremonial aspects of life. On the other hand, a seer is someone who is believed to possess the ability to perceive or predict future events and gain hidden knowledge through extrasensory perception or divination practices. Seers are often associated with clairvoyance or other psychic abilities.
As for witches, they are individuals who engage in witchcraft, which involves utilizing magical or supernatural powers to influence events, cast spells, or connect with spiritual forces. Witchcraft can encompass a wide range of beliefs, practices, and associations, including nature-based spiritual traditions and various religious or spiritual paths.

This is so crazy that I’m even lead into listening and drawn to these things... I’ve just had an extreme traumatic event from an intimate relationship with a narcissist, it only lasted 8 months... my life is upside down, no doctors can figure out what’s wrong with health. It’s been a year now, and I know for sure this is now a spiritual illness. My cat has changed, I only talk to 3 people now, all my family died and my best friend. I’ve been isolating for a year now by choice, the collective energy is so crazy that I want nothing to do with it (and it’s programming). I cannot watch tv or listen to music anymore. Artificial sounds are nothing me, such as graders and car alarms, and they seem to keep expanding into “more of” my nerves are buzzing and vibrating constantly. I have never had health issues in my 49 years of life here.

Hello, I had a weird experience after smoking cannabis a couple months back. I went on a journey inside my mind and my body that took me to a "place" that I somehow knew it was the place from which all things come out of. It was total stillness and infinite and I saw a geometric pattern that my mind associated in the shape with an angel and which I keep finding around me. In that place, I saw something that looked like a library where everything that exists was put on shelves and ordered. One of each kind. (search the matrix scene with the weapons hall, except it was only one, not many of each) .I felt the most love and weirdly at the same time I had the feeling of death, but it was ok, it was so beautiful. The depth of the enormity of that love and of the silence from that place and my inability to completely feel that was turning into the death feeling. Also while being there, I had this feeling of...something is about to happen, these things are about to move, but they aren't YET. When I "returned" here , that peace and silence slowly started to dance and exponentially turned into the loudest noise possible, and from that noise - beam I was right here back. Does this ring a bell to someone ? I made some drawings of that experience, if anyone is interested please let me know and I can share. It's an experience that influenced my life a lot, I now am convinced that after I die there is something else, I dunno what, but that's how I feel. After this experience, I had a synchronicity the SAME DAY. A friend came to my place and we ended up talking about my experience. One thing led to another and we reached the scene from Interstellar where the character goes into the black hole Gargantua, and I couldn't believe the amount of similarities between my experience and that scene from the movie. It's mind boggling. If anyone has any insight into this or has gone through something similar, please let me know. I would highly appreciate it.

Encountering death or the void is a frequent experience, as a form of initiation, for many I think… but ofc this could be your unique journey that meant to have something in it just for you. The library is very intriguing too, perhaps, it's where the wisdom is kept and now you have an access to or, perhaps, it's where your life stories or your past lives have been filed and stored. I was histerical talking to my mom on the phone and there was a dead silence, and a Spanish voice who sounded like an old lady came on to tell me my son will be alright and they are with him then it switched back to my mom And i asked her if she had hung up and she said no she was on the phone the whole time. I'm able to communicate to my ancestors since then , and thankyou for your channel ❤️🙏

How would i go about finding a shamanic teacher?
Travel to a tradition it exist. Mostly nepal, asia, Mongolia, theres mudang korean shamanism.
Abd if you have a claling you don't have a choice you become sick and may even die or other may become sick
the most profound teachings in shamanism often come directly from the spirits within your trusted team of allies. They will guide you in understanding how to be of service and navigate the spirit realms. However, having human teachers and mentors can also be invaluable, as they pass on knowledge, wisdom, and offer challenges that help you grow.
If you have access to local Medicine Men or Women, it's beneficial to reach out and inquire about teachings or community involvement. Connecting with your ancestral wisdom keepers, if known, is also highly encouraged. While traveling and experiencing different cultures can be enriching, it's important to recognize that acceptance as a mentee is not guaranteed, and not all indigenous shamans are automatically authentic.
If you're seeking regular mentoring and teachings without extensive travel commitments, there are many reputable teachers available online, including indigenous and authentic practitioners. It's advisable to listen to various teachers and discern if their wisdom resonates with you on a heart level. Trying their services, if possible, can also provide insight into their approach and compatibility with your journey.
If you're just starting on your path and still undergoing initiation, I suggest seeking a teacher who is supportive of your journey and needs, rather than solely focused on imparting teachings.
Ultimately, there are numerous paths to accessing shamanic knowledge and wisdom, and what works for one person may not be the same for another but you developing your connection with spirits will be the key, and many great teachers will focus on helping you with this.

How does anyone calls himself a shaman? It is the comunity who elects the shaman
Hi Jose, not quite.. most of all, it's the spirits who choose who they want to work with, without them there isn't much for a shaman. Shamans gets chosen by spirits. Community can be helpful in recognising the gifts and guiding the person into the calling or validating the work of a shaman and appreciating/supporting his or her work. Today's world also operates differently to how indigenous communities operated in the past so that will also be reflected in how one will hear the calling. A shaman it's just a label that is used to simplify the category of people who work with spirits to heal and maintain balance between the two worlds. I wouldn't be so attached to it as a term as in reality each tribe, community across the globe will have a different term they will use and there will be different type of shamans too.
