Personally I think my problems are either my fault or nobodies, except in very rare circumstances. Like the caller in this video, so many people's go-to mantre when they have a problem is to find someone else, maybe richer than them, maybe poorer, maybe from overseas, or not, blame it all on them, and get really angry about it. If we as a society put our energies into actual constructive problem solving rather than ranting and foaming at the mouth about everyone else, we'd all be in a better place.

I'll never know how long they would be there, especially as we would only stay until 2pm, if as late as that ... maybe their livers had gotten used to a steady consumption of alcohol, instead of binging over, say, three - four hours.
Even so ... either their wives wanted them out for under their feet ... or, more tragically, it became a social clubs for widowers. Far from reality, we take far fewer refugees than other European countries, Home Secretary just admitted its almost impossible to claim asylum from outside the UK.
Our establishment run media, full of propaganda is responsible for a lot of this ignorance!!
My father came here as a Refugee in the 70s! On arrival he received £10 and sent on his way!
No free fully furnished flats!
No free driving lessons and free car!
No government handouts to pay the bills!
He received £10 and to this woman and her ilk thats still to much! My father has since dedicated his life to founding and running childrens charities and has raised literally millions of pounds in the process x
Worked in social housing where emergency/temporary housing was provided for those coming from war torn areas. The families were coming with nothing. Items were provided but they were the most basic(budget toaster/fridge/beds/settees etc. And the items were to the house and not tenant. So on leaving the items were left behind to be reclaimed by the local authority.

@@sebravenno one gets free houses. People get council houses which you have as well low income housing. I believe it used to be 40% of people had one now it is more like 8% and millions on waiting lists. Where I am I have a council property the rent would probably be around £900-£1000. Bare in mind someone working full time on minimum wage which is very common would earn maybe £1300 a month. I pay £500 you can see why people want council homes. They turn a profit after about 30 years my house was built in the 60s so probably far quicker as it would have been far cheaper than that to build than current costs. The problem we have is once you live in it 3 years you can buy it at a huge discount and then after 5 years you can sell it. What tends to happen is people selling them and move and they are bought up by private landlords and double the rent or people remortgage them and buy another property and again rent privately.
