I love the wavering, the cracks, the rawness of his voice. It's so amazing that he chose to have those imperfections after sound production; we don't get that a lot.
At first i was so confused when he was looking at pictures of himself then i started to cry
His "bad habit" is a photographer who took pictures of him when they were together. Ben goes to his art show and realizes that the photographer has included his pictures, indicating that the photographer still has feelings for Ben.
Hence why the end of the video goes back to the beginning of their relationship. Ben has said this song is a prologue that is written after the break up. the rest of the album is a flashback to the relationship, with "ease my mind" being the beginning of the relationship.

@@carolinecorra What do you mean? I can't tell if this is sarcasm or not. I just used context clues from the lyrics and the video. Ben says "hate to say it's dark in here but it's true" and that's why he often transitions from the real world to a dark room, because he's falling back to his bad habit.
Also, the photos he focuses on are of him and of the photographer, so it seems obvious the photographer is his bad habit
