Tekken 8 is finally here and I'm playing through the story mode for the very first time! Here's the final part of my playthrough! The music and stages for the ending of the story were very cool! I had a lot of fun with this! What did you guys think?

Just to re-iterate, as I mentioned in previous videos, I am new to Tekken (my background is in Mortal Kombat and Street Fighter games primarily). I played a very, very small amount of Tekken as a child and played a little of Tekken 7 but other than that, all of my knowledge of Tekken comes from watching it and talking to others about it - mostly due to wanting to support close friends of mine who are professional Tekken players. So, while I said I found the music to be awesome, I did not know the context of it or that they were using different stages and moves for Jin from different Tekken games throughout the final showdown. That's very cool though!
I read this and figured your reaction to the moment a lot of people are here for might not live up to expectations for the reasons you described which is fine and I understood. I watched another new player to the franchise do chapter 15 and while he didn't know what the references were.. he knew something was there, every round, new move sets too. Button bashing is one thing but I'm surprised you didn't notice the intentional music switch, the stance change and almost all of the moves and abilities changing from one fight to the next. It's like watching a movie and seeing the hero accept his demons and integrating all of their abilities and experience into the final fight. Lots of movies do this and I'm shocked you didnt pick up on even a hint of it here. All of that is still okay though.. what isn't okay and is quite disappointing is saying "I want this to be done" or "this is the same fight over and over..God".. or something similar. The complaining is extremely disappointing to see. Ultimately there's nothing more the developers could have done to make the fights look and feel different each round against Kazuya at the end but it was all lost on you. I'm sorry you felt it was a chore but for almost everyone else it was mega hype, even without past lore. Pay a little more attention to what's happening on screen and your controller. Please watch anyone else's reaction and you'll see what I'm talking about.
I get it you only like the girls & only want to play as them; But the ending that you hated was simply a love letter to old school Tekken & Jin's fans. I know it's hard to put yourself in our shoes being so young & new to Tekken. Only us can understand how it felt for us experiencing something that has been 27 years in the making & hearing the iconic Jin Tekken 3 theme & him using his classic, Devil Jin's & Jun's move-sets from all the previous games.

Already done with the story mode and it was very nice. Been a fan since T4 and lived up to expectations. Much love and respect.
If you a long time Tekken fan then you would appreciate all the references they put in at the end. Especially Jin’s move list

A lot of people (mostly Jin fans) really liked the ending fight, because yes, while it looks like they’re dragging the fight out between Jin and Kazuya, the part where Jin starts using the other martial arts from his entire bloodline was a real clever way of representing Jin accepting every part of his existence.
I don’t blame others for not liking the ending as much as others, but to me, this was a love letter to all the Jin fans that felt dirtied by what happened in Tekken 6. And they knocked it out of the freaking park with it. ❤️🔥

I love the story mode in T8 very much. It totally surpasses and destroys the T7 story mode in my book. If there’s a few things I really liked what Harada and the crew did was expanding out the interactions between Jin and Xiaoyu, Asuka and Lili fighting side by side with the G soldiers and showing that there’s more to Reina’s character than meets the eye. I love Reina as a character and I’m perfectly fine with the idea of her being a Mishima. Hopefully in the future, Reina will probably be fleshed out more in T9.
So that’s pretty much my thoughts on T8. Harada definitely delivered, especially the Jin vs Kazuya fight.
This is just my theory but since haihachi was interested in the devils power himself, wanting to harness it. He got heavy into genetic engineering, so it really wouldn't surprise me if he attempted to give a child that power, preferably his child. She was probably his Trump card. I can't wait to see how the story develops further.

Now Jin finally not ashamed using Mishima fighting techniques, and now his using both Kazama and Mishima fighting styles equals dominating 💯% ❤🥰🤗
As a fan of Tekken since T4,im so happy with the story mode in this game.
Im not even a big fan of Jin but this game was needed to right the wrongs done to his character since t3 ended.
Im not a big fan of the overdesigned Devil designs,so i was very happy that they "punched out" all the devil Gene/magic aspects and it ended in a brutal 1v1 duel between Kazuya and Jin.
Maybe its cuz T4 was my first game in the series,but Kazuya has grown into one of my favorite villians in Gaming.
Dude lost the Devil powers and said "So? That aint been nothing to me besides and extension of my power."
My favorite moment is when Jin is having Flashbacks and you see Devil Jin fading Away,his Mother's warmth and Guidance,but the one that a really got me is when Ling's face appeared.
Ling had kept her faith in Jin longer than anyone,and all Jin wanted to do was Live to see a Life with Ling Possible and that brought tears to my eyes.
The music is awesome!
I'm so glad Kaminano (one of the lesser known themes of Tekken) is featured in TK8

@sowianskiwojownik5973 it's better than t7 but it still sucks. Ttt2 music was better,t6 music was better, t5 music was better,t4 and t3 music was better.
@@sadetwizelve Well I think all the Tekken music, apart from 7 are great and all we have are our own subjective opinions anyways.
