Tip for new writers and story tellers who have an oc like this: After time if you add more depth it gets better, even if you use something like this as a base, maybe give more compelling backstory and some reasons for the depression and stuff. Like mine, who has the cliche scar across the eye, except it was her brother who did it for power but he was really being controlled by this giant evil dude and stuff so it's not just a "I'm badass because of this scar" its a "I was already badass and now I have a reminder of my brothers betrayal in the form of the blind eye"
