I’ve only just discovered Alcest and I’m beyond impressed. They are so good,I fell out of love with music around 2006ish so missed these guys first time around.
He's playing in standard tuning here. In the original, he's playing a whole step down. It would take the whole band quite a bit of time to tune everything a whole step down and then back to standard tuning for other songs. It's just to save time
