Four Foundations of the Church | Acts

In 1869, the tallest lighthouse in America was built in Cape Hatteras, NC. It was built ½ mile from the coast, but after more than a hundred years of beach erosion, the Army Corps of Engineers had to relocate the lighthouse another ½ mile inland. The erosion threatened the foundation of the lighthouse. In a similar way, the Church is to be like a lighthouse-guiding people, warning people, and helping people to get safely home to Jesus. But unfortunately, there has been a slow erosion of some of the foundational elements of the Church that threaten the Church’s ability to be that beacon of light that we are called to be. In Acts 2:42, we learn about four foundational elements that defined the Early Church-things that should still define the Church today. Find out what they are and how our church endeavors to stay on solid ground.

I'm thankful to this teaching. A wonderful reminder as to what a Christian believes. I want to take this to my friends who are Roman Catholic priests and do not know what the term Christian means. (I live in Italy) And the world needs the gospel too. So, I have work to do.

I had press pause and pray God to raise up preachers and teachers like Gary Hamrick that will teach the Word of God without compromise and preach the full counsel of God. Oh praise the Lord for godly men like Pastor Gary. How many full churches would we have with on fire believers if only pastors would preach the undiluted Word of God. Something came to me one day when I was praying and I believe this is the reason why some churches are either in decline or closing all together. I believe that our Heavenly Father is removing the lamp stand of those who continue in the traditions of men and not the Holy Scriptures. The Bible says, I believe, that God would give us shepherds who would feed us. God is giving us pastors who will feed us His Word and not what man thinks it should be.
Love how Pastor Garry explained the bible, I never understood the bible verses until I started listening to this pastor. I am so grateful that God put him in my life. Keep up the great ministry pastor Hamrick🙏🙏🙏❤❤❤
I agree. I have been asked to leave many block buildings for using Gods word to answer questions. I never say I think. I always let THE WORD answer. Go to His word ONLY. I AM HATED BY MANY. yet i never say I think. I read from the Word. This lesson was given a year ago . How is it going? I pray for you and your courage. I love you. God bless you all.

Did Ps Gary do teachings from genesis? I can’t find any of the teaching on UA-cam for genesis, exodus etc? If he hasn’t done them, can you advise on which books he has?
People are starving for the truth. Mamby pamby tickling of the ears just don't cut it.
Did Jesus heal the blind, raise the dead?, etc. because he was God. Or did he want to demonstrate to us what we could do as humans baptized with the Holy Spirit.
The true church and synagogues sits upon everyone’s shoulders where the abomination must be seen by each soul to progress. The building is merely where outer fellowship happens yet again it has been made a den of thieves.
The term “going to church” creates the building as an outside idolization. To call a building the “house of God” violates the fundamental teachings of Christ Jesus because His church is not dwelling in buildings made by human hands. You don’t go to church, you individually ARE the church of Christ Jesus who is IN you.
The very same way the Bible is idolized as the true Word of God (it’s inspired scripture from the Spirit Word) yet continue on never understanding what it really means within which is foretold fulfilling scripture of Isaiah in this age of hearing they will hear but not understand, seeing they will see but not perceive.
Just as a Nazarene came in and taught the Word through active Power (not letters) so too what would appear to be Heathens will guide the Christian’s because this massive religion became corporate and is failing to see and hear the foundation of Christ which is the Wisdom and Power of God and continuing in idolizing buildings and books and not God in Spirit who is worshipped in Spirit (the Invisible).
These individuals are the remnant and they are being equipped to step in at the perfect timing not to save building churches from crumbling, but to bring those to the Living One within them.
Whoever sees and hears this, may you ask for understanding. John 14:20 sums up the Gospel in its entirely. To know is to experience so it’s really heart wrenching to keep hearing pastors idolize the ink Bible, tell people to know Jesus, yet do not show the only way which is through I Am exactly how Moses was given the Law and Jesus spoke and demonstrated “I Am the way”.
It was prophesied that an entire age of a new religion would be worshipping a dead man. This has been fulfilled. Now this age is coming to its end and so is the false church for the True one to Rise again. Thank God
Funny, this Church teaches the Trinity and has the nerve to talk about "truth"
If you dont even know your Gods name and your Bible has LORD in all caps, the LORD is a Title, not a name! We are to worship YHWH through Jesus, not to him. John 20:17!

John 3:16 makes 0 sense if Jesus is YHWH. He isnt. The Bible is clear as it always is
The Church is ONE, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic. Was this man’s “church” founded on the succession of the Apostles and their dogma? Does his “church” meet together, say THE prayers and break bread as a community every Sunday? Read the Church Fathers. Nowhere do you see sola scriptura being believed and taught. Protestantism DOES cherry pick the doctrines they believe, like Martin Luther, John Calvin and all those other 16th century “reformers.” I was starving for the TRUTH and found God’s TRUTH in HIS ONE, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Yeh, read a historical TRUE account of Martin Luther….he always favored the STATE and the private princes who supported him to increase their lands and wealth. Henry VIII did the same in England and killed thousands of Catholics and invented the “upper class landholding royals” we have to this day. No way, no how could I ever attend one of these thousands of independent, “Bible believing “churches” that make things up as they go along.
As a Canadian and a Christian I thought your remark about Bernie Sanders was nasty - shows how political you are. I kinda got the fact that Bernie was saying medical for all because the cost of your medical system is insane . Only the rich can afford to get really sick - I personally love you and your preaching but I am calling you out for comment in medical assistance. No where in the bible does it mention about letting someone die because they can’t afford a doctor. Does it not say help the poor? I thank God I live in a country that covered my Moms radiation costs.
