Please note, that what you see in the video is a Eco inverter with just a single MPP-tracker. Dual MPP-tracker inverters (Symo) will need a second set of SPDs.

Hi! In the Fronius Symo 10-20 or Eco inverters is no SPD integrated as standard.
You can order the inverters with SPD or you can retrofit a kit with article number:
41,0001,0702 SPD type 2
41,0001,0703 SPD type 1 and 2
On Symo inverters with 2 MPPT’s you will need to build in 2 SPD’s.

Type 2 : 4251020 or
Type 2+1 4251025
Both of them is for multistring, what is the difference?

Verry bad design not to include SPD in the inverter after all you can fit theem to PCB for like 10$ . Or just put he external ones from factory without these it is just a mattter of time before you get a nice 2000$ Fronius paper clip.
