- Live drum cam of the full set from Oberhausen, Germany. Audio for the intro is camera audio, all audio afterwards is audio live off the soundboard. I learned the set 3 days before tour and was pulling double duty with Rings of Saturn the whole tour. You can see me flipping through my notes to the next song in my binder while still playing the current song. At this point in the tour I had the songs mostly memorized, I mainly just used it to remember the setlist. Soundboard audio mixed by Cameron Breen (Enterprise Earth live audio engineer)
Setlist:
0:00 Interlude
1:07 Short Fused (soundboard audio starts)
3:55 RIP
7:37 Disappoint
11:27 Lashing Out
14:01 Left To Rot
17:13 Ruthless Hate
20:55 Dwell

incase you didn't know how big of a beast Mike is, he NEVER played this live with Traitors and had ZERO practice with them before the first show. Mike slayed the whole tour and was a absolute pleasure to tour with - (Joey)
HI JOEY!
@@MikeCaputo is that what the binder is for? fucking unbelievable man!
@@MikeCaputo Absolutely amazing to hear and you killed it like always
@@fr0zoneLay3r I'm very late, but yes that's what the binder is for. I learned this whole set in 2 days before this tour started so for the first week or two I was using paper in the binder to remind me of certain parts. After I became comfortable it basically just became a glorified setlist
You dont fucking mess with MAD MIKE CAPUTO!!
always comin back to this
snare is insane, love those ghostnotes in the intro
It’s kinda funny seeing him go from 180-240 BPM playing to this. Great stuff as always though!
Gotta be diverse
Dude absolutely slayed Left to Rot and Ruthless Hate!!!
I'm surprised the crowd is so dead here, I remember seeing them for the first time (in Van Nuys CA) and that was one of the rowdiest shows I've still ever been to. Your drumming is tight as usual though, love watching your videos, makes me want to go play my kit!
It's just audio from what the drummer would hear. Not the entire concert hall.
Fantastic live sound. the drums sound incredible, guitar and bass sounds brilliant and vocals. Hailz
This is one of my fave videos on your channel! Drums are tight!🔥🔥 Cheers Mike!!! 🤘🤘🤘
I’m back again! lol this shit never gets old.
Wish the crowd woke up though!
the drum tones are super sick for this set! \M/
Heckin right bud! I love angry riffs like these :D
Super tight as always!
Sick job dude
Great performance mate. I've seen you in Budapest and the Traitors show was just amazing however what you performed with Rings of Saturn was on a different level, it was absolutely jaw dropping. Keep it up!
Amazing as usual
Absolutely huge man
This mix is sooo good.
You achieved to maintain most of the grooves laid down on the tracks. That's nice and allso quite a job since they have a really strong groove. You did a great job replacing Stephen on this one! Especially when it isn't your "kind" of music. Too bad I missed you guys on the Eurotrip. Was a big ass line up. Hope to see you soon brother.
Nice dude!
Drum stalking you from a Obscura video. Wow!! Dude you are awesome. Love your groove so much. I am going to practicing your single bass chops. Your single bass dexterity is righteous.
Pretty good sound quality, man
Saw you guys in Bristol, UK and was blown away. You guys are great, and your frontman is a fuckin monster haha. Nice pizza shirt btw
nice
That snare.
Holy fuck how am i just finding tyhis b and holy sdfhii
ONE FOOTED MY GUYS
I LIED
It's so strange to hear you play so slow hahah :D
I hope he got the most of his anger out this tour
Hey Mike how long did it take you to develop your wrists (specifically for blast beats ? Great set. !
Fat snare sound, is it triggered or just mic?
Just mic
Mike Caputo Then you’ve got some awesome tuning skills
that gosh darn drumset just wont stay in place >:(
jokes aside going from that to rings isnt easy dude, GREAT job
Hey Mike! How do you prepare on short notice for sets like this? Is it just listening to the set-list over and over again, reading over transcriptions..?
Basically. I listen to nothing but the setlist for as long as possible, and in this case I wrote down the parts with names I would remember and would look at them whenever I needed. I only had 3 days to learn this set so I charted it. Usually if I have at least a week or so I don't need to do that
Okay. I do pretty much the same thing. I was just curious. Thank you for the reply!
Hey man!Awsome performance, i wish i couldve seen it live but my concert got cancelled. I just wanted to ask if you know if the last 3 tour dates that got cancelled get replayed? Sorry for bad english...
I'm not sure :(
@@MikeCaputo :(

At 14:10 is someone doing backing gutturals or is the bass guitar tone extra stinky?

Evans G14 on top, Hazy (snare side) 300 on bottom
Mike Caputo thanks I’ll have to try it after the virus is over
Do you trigger your kicks?
Yes with Footblaster and a Roland TM-2
What china is that? 🤘
18" Meinl Classics Custom Extreme Metal China
Music theory grad meets beatdown
Why didn't Stephen play?
He had some things pop up last minute that he had to take care of so he asked me to fill in 3 days before the tour
@@MikeCaputo I gotcha. Nice fill in dude💪
@@MikeCaputo 3 days? Damn. Were you very familiar with their songs beforehand?
@@JesperOjala Literally not at all lol
@@MikeCaputo Impressive! I'd need way more time for sure.
Double duty sounds really not fun
The actual playing part was very fun. There was another drummer in between my sets though and we were sharing a kit so after this set I had to take down my cymbals, pedals, electronics, and the snare, and then set them back up again for Rings every night. Including soundchecking with Rings earlier in the day I had to set up and tear down 4 times a day, so that part isn't fun. But I loved actually playing 2 sets a night
@@MikeCaputo traitor's sets don't seem too straining either, I more meant the teardown
