The UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch covers 824 km2. 85% of its surface is over 2000 m above sea level. The World Heritage label is the highest honor given to a natural landscape - but also a commitment to preserve it for the next generation.
In 1969, the Schilthorn was the filming location for the James Bond classic "On Her Majesty's Secret Service". Today's 360° restaurant served as the base for the villain Blofeld and was given the name Piz Gloria - which has remained to this day. The film shows several highlights of the region which can still be found today. Pursuits, fashion, villains, cocktails, beauties from all over the world and lovers wanting to marry are just some of the highlights awaiting adventurous Bond fans at the Schilthorn Piz Gloria.
