you prolly dont give a shit but if you are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the new movies and series on instaflixxer. Been streaming with my gf for the last months xD
Great video! I laways wondered why they shut down the la river! Thanks for sharing! Haven't been there for awhile. Used to practice wheelies there. Miss that place! Lol @ 22:22 about riders not waving back! I wondered the same thing. And lol @ 22:33 "don't acknowledge me peasant!" Classic.
That section where you stopped and turned around is fixed up now! It’s super nice compared to what it looks like in your video. Unfortunately I just did this route yesterday and some of the sections on the bike path are blocked off. All you gotta do is slide your bike through the the bars and go around. You should check out the spoke cafe place it’s really nice and all the cyclists stop there, they even have beer and a bike shop.
Hey, thanks for the ride-along via video. BTW, the graffiti represents ownership through a particular scrawl or design you saw. So it's intended to be that way to warn others to stay away. Same thing in Chicago.
No they're just a bunch of tags from local crews, no area belongs to any of them. If anything the original gang that was there is Frogtown and those tags will symbolize their hood. Back in the 90's you couldn't ride a bike in the river you would probably get robbed at gun point. So glad this river is safe now.
The river was unpredictable and flooded human habitation, so the Army Corps of Engineering (prompted by the city) encased the river to prevent alluvial behavior. This is not the first time humans have moved into a flood plain and decided to control water flow. Sadly, this is destructive to the natural beauty and devastating to indigenous life. I look forward to the future when a path can coincide with nature.
Awesome video. Love to learn some of the history of the places people ride. Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome dude!

Haha thanks for listening to my nonsense rambling man! Wonderful path around that area.
Hi. I think it would be better if you'd show the map with your route. What if I want to see these wonderful places.)
Great suggestion! I'll look into it! Would definitely add something new to these videos. Thanks for watching.
The title is from Atwater to LA River. Look on Google Maps

Hi! Thank u so much. I miss L.A.
The problem with the river is the erosion due to building all around the river that’s why the walls are cement.
The river was unpredictable and flooded human habitation, so the Army Corps of Engineering (prompted by the city) encased the river to prevent alluvial behavior.
