Hi.... I thank you specially for this video. I'm a beginner. No formal training on sewing. So I use UA-cam. You are so detailed and a very good teacher. I made this top, used your skirt pattern and made a skirt, joined them together to form a gown. I wore it for a wedding yesterday. I looked awesome.i didn't even believe it myself. Thank you. PLEASE...... can you keep posting videos? PLEASE!!!! For people like us that use UA-cam 😁. I need your draft for a fitted gown. Please. Thank you.
Thank you for this. Plz if I want to make the overlap with a different material, what other material can you suggest that will give the rap a good standing effect.
Thank you sis, but please I have a question,If I decide to make my cape wider like 10 or 12, u know that automatically cape wil be longer than my half length, will I need to pleat it at the ziper side?
Thanks so much for this tutorial. Please i wanted to ask you mentioned in the video that after the 8½ inch you measured ½ inch which is the bust point. Should it be the person's bust point or just add half inch. I hope you understand what I'm saying. Thank you
Which part of the top didn't lay well?. I'm ask so i can help you fix it. I made this top for different sizes and the method I shared in this video works perfectly.
The shorter part will be up, matching the upper part of the back zipper allowance while the longer part will be towards the down part of the zipper allowance.
Beautiful video...I subscribed immediately.😁😁😁😁...more grace dear...but pls I have special request......I don't know how to make the lower part of the gown...can u pls show me how u did that down part orbpls make a video on it....thanks God bless
Thank you 😊. For the down part of the dress, from the waist to knee is a regular pencil skirt pattern then from the knee to the floor length is 360° flare. When cutting the flare i added 10 inches to the knee circumference so that I can pleat it to give it more fullness. I hope you understand 😊
Another question..1..how many yards of fabric did u use...2.and did u turn it with lining or u sewed it like that and then weaved the mouth 3.did u okeat the kne flare or u gathered it
This was just what I was looking for. Thank you so much for your clear instructions 👍🏾❤

Thank you for this. Plz if I want to make the overlap with a different material, what other material can you suggest that will give the rap a good standing effect.
You're welcome 😊. I would recommend any kind of cotton fabric, and for the standing effect; you can iron a stiff fusible interfacing to the fabric.
Thanks a bunch for sharing. You just saved me.. please if I don't want it this deep can I come down with 7" as against 8.5" that you used ?
You're welcome 😍. Yes you can.
Thanks for sharing your knowledge but I think you should do the front before the back cos it may be confusing. Much love ma
Do you mean that I should draft the front pattern before drafting the back pattern?
