Wait im confused, why would the mom lie and let her believe the people at the restaurant put the note in her purse. The just doesnt sit right with me. Also the part where she said that all she can do is assume is just wrong. I feel like if she really wanted to know about what happned she should talk to the girls or atleast talk to the people at the restaurant instead of sending other people in for her and atleast get the story straight because by the way that things are going, there is going to be way more mistakes and updates.

I think its called reputation. But i think that all their reputations were ruined that day, I mean its embarrassing to say that they got drunk and they don't remember what happened and that one of them ended up in the Hospital. I think that in a hispanic household, you are taught to speak to the parents especially if you are under their roof, so for them it was reasonable to speak to the parents first. And didn't she say that she didn't want to talk to them, so their next option was to try to talk to the parents to sort out the problem.
