They became the nation's girl group in Korea and had record-breaking concert tours in Japan while Blackpink were taking selfies with American celebrities and releasing one song a year. JYP didn't care about Twice becoming big in the west until they had firmly established themselves at home. They're not following anyone, they do what they want and they're killing it.
I really love how she mentioned that she also started on an audition show. So many people are quick to write off groups that don't come together naturally and she just embraced it right away.

I love how Duhyun was the only one that answered in English, in fact I love when any group speaks in English out of nowhere, even if it’s just one word and even if they aren’t fluent in English, they still try to learn to speak English and like speaking it whenever they can at random times
