Oh my goodness, the first one I hear from 3 am to around 7:30 am during the spring and summer. That bird signifies the arrival of Spring because you don't hear it during the colder months. Funny fact, I'm sitting here listening to the first bird as I'm on the toilet right now. LoL 😆
Hearing the cardinals in the morning reminds me of being a child in the woods building stick forts with friends. I can smell the forest, and imagine the morning so vividly. ❤
Yes cardinals almost sound like Chipmunks chirping. I have 2 cardinals everyday, funny, they are like clockwork! Every morning amd night same time. Right before dark and dsy break. Everyday..
The Orioles seem to be coming back to Ontario...finally after a very long absence. DDT in the 60's weakened them and the eggs. I'm so happy to see them back. I have yet to see their beautiful nests hanging from trees. Fingers crossed I will.
I live in a skyrise downtown Toronto... and this is really making me miss my chikdhood home in suburbs. I miss these sounds. Reminds me of my childhood and my beautiful cardinal friends waking me up in the warmer months. Best sound on earth.
That specific cardinal call pattern seems to be super uncommon in all the collections I've listened to, but it's the one I remember clearly growing up. Hearing it again right at the start of the video just solved a little mystery for me today : )
this is a wonderful video. So well shot it seems the birds know you're there and show themselves to you to help you film them. Thanks also for identifying them in order. Lovely, thankyou for sharing.
I was trying to identify this bird that wakes me up every morning around 5am then returns again a few hours later, everyday now for a little over a week. Sounds oddly like a person whistling, but far more eloquent until you pay closer attention. Apparently, it's a golden crowned sparrow (?)
There's a CBC documentary of Wolverines, and there's a scene where a crow pulls at a feeding Wolverines rear hairs 😂 this was the moment I knew birds are incredible. Thank you for this amazing, high quality upload. I'm glad we get to live among these amazing animals.
There’s a bird that I hear every morning at sunrise that I’ve been trying to figure out what it is. I don’t think it was in this video but it was very informative for some other calls I’d heard. But the one I keep hearing is like “doo dee dee dee dee dee” very loud and clear. If anyone might have any idea what it could be, I would appreciate it!
This was awesome!! Thank you!!!!! Now I know what bird is pooping on the edge of my pool! What the heck. Common grackles. They have a nest in one of my cedars and the whole pod comes when we’re not outside. Any suggestions you have to distract them would be great! I have put up 2 big owls and a large black raven. But they know they’re not real I feel. I think they’re quite clever!!
Cardinals have the best songs, I can listen to them all day. American Robins are very ambitious and so fun to watch their activity. Blue Jay's are beautiful not only to look at, but in flight too. Mourning Doves have the most annoying sound, even the sound they make when I see one and chase it is annoying. Useless bird not much better than a pigeon. Stupid too, every year, they make a nest in a rain gutter next door to me! What a stupid location for a nest! They crap on my car all the time too (maybe it's Karma because of my disdain for them). I don't wish harm on any living creature, but if Mourning Doves became extinct, I wouldn't shed a single tear.
Thanks for this video. It would have been so very helpful had you put the names of the birds on the screen rather than having to pause and look in the description for each one.
@dionst.michael1482 Thanks for the tip. I've rewatched with captions, much better. I'm older, from the typewriter era, and phone and app updates change so many settings I can't keep up with them.
I have been trying to find a specific bird sound. I keep hearing it in the background of other bird sounds!! 🤣 at 2:30 there is another call in the background. Can anyone tell me qhat bird it belongs to?
Red-Winged Blackbird, Chickadee, Blue Jay, even the Robin - nope, not the distinctive calls. Mourning Dove - yes. Cardinal - not quite sure. The other songs were not particularly distinctive anyway.
I hate morning doves. I hear them all day long for some reason. Their calls being so drawn out and repetitive makes them a nuisance more than anything.
wonderful. As a Ontario person living abroad, these birds and their sounds are heart warming. Very nostalgic. Thank you!

Waking up to some of these calls is peak comfiness
Ive now identified that its been a cardinal that has been waking me up at the crack of dawn! Great video, thank you!
Sounds like the 3 stooges

me too... LOL
Lol! Yeah they do that
Natures car alarm
I live in Ontario to and I’m glad to see the orioles back.

I had a mystery bird(s) in the woods behind my house. Turns out it was an Oriole
Had one nest at my friends house, the most beautiful bird, and the nest is absolutely art

Very stylish drop-slide onto the feeder by the Oriole at 2:55
I love the sound of chickadees in the morning
some birds just look so chubby. When I zoom way in in them I see just how chubby and fluffy they are.
Bardzo ładne śpiewy ptaków ❤
I miss these birds man
morning doves are my FAV
I used this to identify the birds waking me up in the morning :) they’re cardinals!
same!
have u heard those owls that always go: AHH OOO OO OOOOOOO
Aha! I have a noisy House Sparrow outside. Never gets tired.

Birds love to put on a show 🙏
Thank you for uploading this wonderful Video
Gold finches are my favourites :)
Finally!! I found it. A morning dove. Been wondering what was making that sound since I was like 6…I’m 20.
aaah.. i've stayed up all night.. time to *cardinal squawks* god fucking damnit
Guys, if you turn on captions it'll label the birds
Grackles are so silly hahah

Reminds me of summer
I'm friends with the American robin apparently I just found out lmao 🤣😂
Great video 📹
Thanks for the upload! This is great
I'm glad you enjoyed the video!
@@TheBackyardBirderCS I absolutely enjoyed it! I hope you have a good day😊
I believe those bluejay calls were accurate but those arnt the types of bluejay calls i hear. I hear the constant pissed off : MNEeeh! MNEeeh! at 4am
Bluejays are aggressive, it's probably scaring off other birds or a squirrel. I used to hear that sound when they ate at a bird feeder
It would be nice if these were labeled. That would help as I teach my child.
Thank you for the comment. :) Here is a link to one of my videos that have the birds labeled on the video. ua-cam.com/video/z-ZmieT6YQg/v-deo.html
You can turn on captions, it says the species

Chickadee perhaps?

Funniest part about this comments section is people trying to spell out bird songs they've heard. haha. What an impossible task!
nice
What bird is at 2:05? Not the chickadee, but the loud background tweeting sound
Robin

What bird is in the background at 6:07 with the house sparrows?
What is the bird singing away in the background of the chickadee?
Robin and there was a mourning dove
who has the bird name for 4:19
If you turn on the captions it will label them. That’s a Blue Jay. 💙
What’s the bird noise right at 6:07? It’s not birds they currently show
I hear the one in the background at 0:56 all the time around where I live but I don't know what kind of bird makes that call
I think in the background around 56 seconds I hear the call of a Red-winged Blackbird and a chirp of a Grackle. I hope this helps.
The Baltimore Oriole sure sounds like a rattler! 😃
y'all should invest in a wind sock
I watched this video to see if I could match the bird call I keep hearing outside my window. Turns out it's an American Robin!
You should label what birds are what
Check out my recent video -
Common Canadian Birds - Quick Guide With Names
Well , it appears that very loud bird isn't very common , I didn't hear him in this video.
Thanks for this video.

@@sansnom508 No worries. Me too! And I hate it too! Only got a cell phone a year ago cause I was forced into it!

I think it's the mourning dove? 3:15
3:07 I always thought that was an owl call.
Thats the call of a mourning dove.
What is the bird in the background with the chickadee??
At the 2 minute mark it sounds like an American Robin calling, in the background of the video. :)
Thanks for watching my video.
very inaccurate version of the Red-winged black bird.
Red-Winged Blackbird, Chickadee, Blue Jay, even the Robin - nope, not the distinctive calls. Mourning Dove - yes. Cardinal - not quite sure. The other songs were not particularly distinctive anyway.
Name of birds?
There are some names in the captions. Not sure if they are correct
Seriously, you have missed so many birds
I hate morning doves. I hear them all day long for some reason. Their calls being so drawn out and repetitive makes them a nuisance more than anything.
More thumbs down than labels
OMG, and the Chick-a-dee....I stopped watching after that....do you even know what these birds really sound like?
