My handle broke when I tired to pop my hood so now it’s just loose in place I can’t pop my hood i wonder if just the plastic broke and all I have to do is replace that little piece or somthing in side broke
On my car it’s the plastic piece behind the handle that the cables connect to that is broken. Any pointers on how to release the plastic cover behind the handle? I can only find one screw on it which was behind the handle. Do I need to remove the rearward cover under the seatbelt first??

This helped me alot, had to remove it so i could get to the last bolt for the door!

well you'd have to remove the handle, check the gear, etc.. but 90% its the cable which is super hard to deal with

the clip prob fell off behind that kick panel.
