My 450 G4 stopped turning on some time ago ..the power button doesnt click,No charge indicator ..I took the batter out and it had a little bumpyness and tried charging without it the indicator flashed orange then white then turned off? Could you help??
Thanks for this Video is my opinion right that the CPU is on the back from the motherboard and is it right that i must get the same way as shown to change the Thermal compound under the CPU?
check the device manager to see if for some reason the driver has been removed. Also plug a usb keyboard and see if that works, if it does then most likely you need to replace the keyboard. all the best.
@@simpletechsolutions6827 usb keyboard working all the time. Problem was dead laptop touchpad and laptop keyboard. Adviced to uninstall mouse Synaptics SMBus Clicpad-driver. YES!! It worked, laptop automatically installed new driver. Spent approx. 6 hours on this, solution took 6 seconds! Have a nice day.
With regards to the orange ribbon from the keyboard Is it for the backlight? Or what because mine doesnt have it and I panicked a bit when i didnt see it
that's strange if it is the same model, then it should have two, maybe someone who opened your laptop forgot to put it back. Those 2 ribbon, one is for the actual keyboard and the other is for the backlight, so if your backlight ribbon is missing, it does not have much impact on the functionality of the keyboard.
its a Phillips screw. remember when you loosen the screw it does not come out of the service door, it stays with the service door, as you can see it on the video
yes you should be able to apply the thermal paste. check this link ua-cam.com/video/4MgKiHnV-WU/v-deo.html at 4 minute, i have showing how to apply the paste onto the gpu and the cpu. all the best

hi, so sorry can't help you with this one, you need to check your motherboard manufacturer and check the model number to see which graphic cards are compatible with that motherboard.
Hi. I have a 450 G4 and now when I plug the charger in it will not charge. Sometimes I get a small flashing white light next to the port that lasts for maybe 8 flashes then goes dead. Any ideas? Thanks.
@@simpletechsolutions6827 Thanks for the reply. Yes. Currently have 25% battery and icon does not change when charger inserted. Charger output checked and is good.
This happens to most laptop, try to completely draining the battery and then remove the battery (make sure to follow the safety guide). wait for 5-10 minutes, then replace the battery and power up the laptop. see how you go. also check this link as well. h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Archive-Read-Only/Charging-light-blinking-8-times-and-not-charging-in-HP/td-p/3834624

yes if want to remove the battery, you have to teardown, just watch my other video on how to replace the battery, ua-cam.com/video/BHE0Nk2WqDI/v-deo.html. if you say that you charger is not click in, mostly likely your charger or the DC jack where you connect the charger is broken.
Guys I have no experience in this, so I wanna know if this device supports upgrading the screen card & an SSD M.2 & RAM up to !?? If anyone knows please help 😢

how many ribbons are running from your keyboard to the motherboard, if its 2 then its fine as colors does not matter, as long as you have 2 ribbons
