I was a kid in St. Pete in the 70's and early 80's and went to Sunken Gardens many times on school field trips. Many fond memories!

Florida native 53 years. Sunken Gardens is a shell of what it used to be after the city took it over.
Thanks for the tour, have not been in about 15 years. Maybe time for another visit.

Great job ! I remember going to Sunkens Gardens when I was younger (early mid 80s) , the monkey they had in the front entrance of the park was a class act and was the highlight of our visit. ☺️. Beautiful place.
