Take a tour of the Warner Bros. lot and see filming locations from your favorite horror flicks including “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane” and “House of Wax”, with a detour to everyone’s favorite campground, Camp Crystal Lake. Sleeping bags not required
Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood is open daily from 8:30AM to 4:00PM, with tours departing every 30 minutes and extended hours offered during the summer, spring break and winter holiday seasons.
Horror Made Here: A Festival of Frights is a special ticketed event, held on October 5-6, October 12-14, October 18-21 and October 25-28, open from 7PM to 1AM. The event ticket includes access to the festival, all scare mazes and the night tour.

Honestly, I would probably have been as still as this guy. I didn't find this scary.
Personally, I think it would be better if the groups were smaller and decided to participate and have fun. It’s particularly cringey when someone is screaming and running from the killer (actors) and the viewers walk slower. What’s the point. Another point especially when Jason was behind them they continued walking.

They nailed the atmospherics but it seriously lacks any form of audio. Music, sound effects or even ambient noises.
Well it’s an actual movie studio they’re on, which is why the sets are some of the best I’ve ever seen. However, you’d think it’d have more music and more of an ominous presence.

@@emilyfereira5377 Agreed but Universal Studios (both Hollywood and Orlando) are movie studios and when they did do Friday the 13th, they had music, atmospheric places, blood, gore, jump scares. I think this version at WB Studios was meant to be more realistic given the fact that if you are being chased by a serial slasher killer, their theme won't play if you get stabbed
So you can hear people screaming. Audio makes sense on movies but not when they are trying to make an immersive, real life experience. Creepy audio doesn't play in real life scenarios.

Camp crystal lake is at an actual scout camp in Jersey. You can sign up to go on the yearly Friday the 13th fan weekend.

Feels more like an interactive museum tbh. it is an interesting concept but it definitely needs to be expanded upon.
I appreciate what horror made here is trying to do, however they need to be closer to horror nights . There are a lot of awkward moments in these mazes . Especially adding to the the fact that there is no sound effect or soundtrack in the houses , however the scares and facades are great .
Tbh I really like that there are no additional sound effects. It makes everything feel more real and intense. (At least it does to me)

I disagree. I enjoyed WB more than HHN because it felt more atmospheric and I was able to take it all in. HHN is so loud you can’t even clearly hear the sound effects and it’s so crowded and rushed that you have no time to enjoy anything. Also, I appreciated the variety in the attractions at WB unlike HHN where every maze is pretty much the same just with different themes.

This is better than Terror Tram. Like this seems like you're actually walking through the movie. It's well lit so you can see the sets and effects, there isn't constant blaring music, and there isn't a million scare actors and people running around. It's not scary, fun, but not scary. Walking silently through the woods and turning around to see Jason silently stalking behind you, that's the ultimate horror fans experience.

I feel so bad for Jason. If I was there when he was a kid I would be his friend and give him snacks, hugs, drawings and way more! If he didn’t have something that he needed and I had it I’d let him have mine. I would protect him and yell at anyone who would hurt him. When he drowned I would scream for his mom then jump in the water and try and save him. I’m saying try because I’m not a very good swimmer. He was such an adorable kid. People might not see it but he still is cute. I cried actual tears when he drowned!..

wish it was different. kinda got my hopes up for nothing . I do recommend anybody that universal does it better. Been an HHN FAN SINCE 2012 have been going ever since . Universal does not disappoint me at all 🙏🏻 this year is REALLY AWESOME .
Horror Nights was really weak this year.
Hhn is trash.. I went there in 2007 at like 12 years old and still wasn’t scared.. went again in 2011 and 2012 and was still weak... I bet it was better when they could actually grab you.

Camp crystal lake is actually in NJ ... I’ve visited the real camp that it was REALLY filmed in :) so this wouldn’t scare me lol facts back up truth but this seems awesome to do :)
Every Friday the 13th the town of Blairstown in NJ where it was filmed has town wide events celebrating the movie

Man, they must have changed it a lot, i just went and the jason at the dock switches off from being on the dock and coming out of the water. Also the cabins were much darker which allowes the actors to hide better and get some better scares. They made it a lot better, its good to see that they can see their issues and fix them to make it a better experience. And also dont jude it off of a video, go see it yourself, its better in person, i would definetly recommend trying WB out it is really cool. Nice Video.

Just went here over the weekend. I enjoyed it way more than Halloween Horror Nights. It was a nice change of pace. And you really get to appreciate the set pieces. You don't feel rushed at all.
