I've seen a recent interview with louds coach (peu) and saadhak, a portuguese interview so unfortunately u cant understand but peu and saadhak pretty much said they wont be doing major changes and will only work on fixing those mistakes and the anti strats people can use against them. So yea, you can expect loud to run the same exact comp ( unless saadhak somehow makes a major change work in less than 10 days )
Or they are lying and played something else during the training, don't think this is happening tho
I mean I'd imagine in training they experiment a tad. I don't think their comp is inherently bad, but yea trying to minimize where there are gaps sounds like a sound strategy with the small gap between play offs and madrid. Only thing they probably could swap would maybe be Phoenix/Yoru or swap Breach for something else. @@luizcorsa8563
I just want to say that your analysis is seriously good. I mean, this stuff with intermediate spaces... I know you were in sports analysis at some point, but the vast majority of viewers - or even analysts - just can't see it at such a strategic level. So thank you so much for these videos.
not to discredit TMV, but i watch plenty educational valorant content and the term "intermediate space" isnt a new thing, its usually called "neutral space"
Less said in a recent interview that Loud may be experimenting with Yoru, so it's likely they'll be running that agent in some maps where Phoenix didn't pay off that much
I'd be shocked if more teams weren't experimenting with Yoru after the Skye murder. He has the "mobility" of Dive Duelists and relative sustain of like the "Skirmishers" (Idk what we call Phoenix/Reyna/Iso but they all have a degree of self sustain).
Well, after the somewhat disappointing playoffs run for Loud, I've gotta say that some of their thought process behind some comps are fine, however that team is simply throwing away all of their agents' strengths by not using their goddamn utils man. Loud has to get their shit together and stop playing like some random Brazilian team because we expect them to be an elite tier team
I personally think if EG can make Deadlock work, then Loud can definitely make their non-sentinel comp work. Maybe if instead of trying to find a way on covering their weaknesses of having no sentinels, and just go hard on using their strengths with the amount of utility they have available, it could probably work.
Well, they did exactly that and things aren't looking good on that Lotus against SEN.
They tried that. Their mechanics alone aren't enough especially with the loss of a top 10 duelist in aspas. Not sure if the new sub can play jett/ raze that well. That's probably why they where forced to innovate.
IMO, and this isn't a hot take, but their comp would've worked more better if Lotus still had 3 Ult Orbs. It feels like that's something few teams considered on old lotus with Phoenix. I don't think comp is bad, but yea they need to like maybe tweak it a little. @@carljojohnson
They dont have time to change the comps if they change something its like switching the Phoenix for the Yoru, but that also feels unlikely because saadhack said that he doesn't like yoru
Lucky for them ascent has had the same stale comp for years and years so they’ve already played it for a long time, that won’t be hard, the other maps may be a little harder
Phoenix even before was always decent on Ascent (I think Liquid won EMEA with it?). The Ult orbs being very attacker friendly basically is free real estate. @@rank1562

aspas is a top player but Less doesn’t get enough credit
I doubt LOUD showed everything in kickoff, especially when they won every series apart final. With offseason this long and saadhak's huge brain, I wouldn't be surprised about them throwing this comp as decoy, while their real (yoru) comp is just waiting for Madrid.

I mean it goes without saying that LOUD tend to change their comps up between tournaments. And seeing that their Phoenix/Breach comp wasn't dominating and catching on, they're changing it up earlier than compared to when they did it with Harbor/Viper last year.
There's no time for major changes at this point. You can't expect a large shift. Loud just have to polish up their comp and cover up on potential weaknesses.
Imo that was the best thing they could do without revealing strats for the big event. Loud is definitely a big picture team and probably budgeting out how to secure another champions
