After 10 long years, My Hero Academia has ended, no matter how others may have a perspective of this series, It’ll always be very close to my heart, it was my first long anime, and probably first to lots of others. We will forever remember Horikoshi, MHA and the influence it had on other series during its run. Thank You, Kohei Horikoshi-san

Why does this give me nostalgia? I only watched MHA in november of 2019, not when it was first released.

My Hero Academia has done something that many anime have attempted and have failed but after watching the first two episodes I couldn't do it. My tears flowed out of my eyes and it was water works man. When a show can get me that emotionally invested I can say that its done its job in spades.
TheMasterQuests I know right. 5 minutes into the first episode of this show and I knew I was in love. This show makes me cry, laugh, and sometimes angry. It brings out so many emotions in me.

TheMasterQuests to be honest the first episode didnt really capture my attention the second was alright. Than it started getring interesting with the third. After that i started binge watching the whole damn thing and now i love it.
This is straight up the ONLY anime that has made me cry, and one of the few where I feel the genuine beat in my heart, this longing for the characters to succeed. It probably helps that Deku is a bit like me in a few ways.

You know, it's the little things that make this ending pretty great. Midoriya tripping a little at one point and then later wiping tears from his eyes all while he's running were both nice touches.

When I first saw this show on Hulu, I first thought " I've heard good things about this show, might as well watch it" I watched the first season in a day and now it's my #1 favorite anime.

Damn, this is more than just a ending. This is motivation. It teaches you that no matter what obstacles or doubters you encounter, you keep running forward, and if you stumble( 0.57 ) you keep moving forward and run faster.
zetachi001 This anime actually made me start working out and try to gain weight (muscle). One thing he said in the anime that really got to me was, to be to the best, you have to work the hardest. After that, I began to try and see what my limits were. After doing 15 push-ups and my arms started burning, I remembered what he said. I also remembered how he pushed his limits as well when he was training and it made me do 15 more after that which I never thought I could do. Afterwards, I couldn’t even feel my arms, they were numb, and I got a headache. But I was proud of myself, and I felt good. Anime can be really inspiring.

If you’re interested in the other side of Japan (Tokusatsu), try Kamen Rider Fourze. That show is so fun and positive, it’s unreal even by the in-universe standards.

I love the representation of how Deku sees All Might throughout the openings and endings. In the first opening and ending, it shows that Deku seed All Might as a god, a goal he can never reach. In the second opening, it changes to Deku seeing All Might jumping off the building. Deku sees him as less of a god, but still above him. In the third opening, it shows that Deku sees All Might as less of a god, and more of a human; like him.

No. Episodes are based on manga. So they can end only when manga ends. I counted, 1 episode is about 1.6-2.5 chapters of manga. Now there are 414 chapters, as I remember, and they keep coming out, so even if manga ends with 430 - 450 chapters(which I hope won't happen), there will be at least 3 another seasons.
I'm also very worried mha might end, cause it means too much for me. So lets hope together this is just the beginning :). Good luck!
Man I love Midoriya, he's such an amazing character but I wish the world didn't give him so much shit. All he wants to do is follow his dream of being a hero and help people and inspire them with a smile, I hate it how people looked at him and told him that he was stupid for trying to follow such an unrealistic goal. And in the end, the only one to see his true potential was the strongest hero in the world. But it teaches us to never give up our dreams even if their unrealistic, Midoriya is proof that they do come true.
I think he's not gonna be who he is if he wasn't given all those. atleast not exactly. it's both shit, and something to learn from. that's why he's an inspiration to his class.

I Honestly Feel Bad for Him. All he wanted to be is be like All Might, despite having no superpowers. At a young age, boy's heart was crushed. I really do wanted to cry after watching this ending so many times. if i had some badass superpowers, i'm giving it to him

This made me cry a lot since I know how Deku feels as a kid. Was a kid that was sensitive but inside wanted to be a hero. But no one accepted me as a friend and just made fun and hate me.

I love how simple yet meaningful this outro is of midoriya just running. The subtle but significant message from when he tripped but got back up and kept running and how when he was wiping away his tears and started to slow down but suddenly speeding up again.

I can’t believe it ended. I spent 7 years of my life reading this series. An entire third of my life. Time flew by so quickly, and I never noticed. I really can’t believe it. There were some ups and downs, but I’ll never regret starting this series. So many good memories I’ll cherish for the rest of my life. Anime wouldn’t be as big as it is now if it wasn’t for this series. Really hope they play this for the final episode or for the final minutes of the movie if they decide to end it with a film. Whatever Horikoshi does next, I’ll be there.

Reading the last chapter and listening to this outro feels different 😢 it’s a bittersweet ending man.
Every since toonami aired MHA, Those Saturday nights spent together with all my brothers Enjoying The anime shows it aired on the program, in which this one was my favorite growing up. Now looking back at it and reading chapter 430, This Anime will always hold a special place in my heart.
I can confidently say that out of all the openings and endings, this is my favorite song and visuals. I started reading MHA back when the latest chapter was chapter 3 after it got recommend to me by some UA-camr who covered the first chapter.
I started really liking it during the first chapter but the part that got me hooked was when Deku started breaking down at hearing his hero say he can achieve his goal.
It's strange for me to think that it was was 5, almost 6 years ago when I read that chapter and 4 years ago when I stayed up waiting for the anime to premiere and hearing this ending for the first time and I have only grown to love this series more. It's by far my personal favorite anime and with this ending I just get all the nostalgic memories of filling this story for so long. I can already see how the anime would end with us hearing Adult Deku say
"And that's the story of how I became the worlds greatest Hero."
To then cut immediately to this song starting.
That would be an amazing night, staying up waiting for the first episode of season 1 come out. Anime is so different when you watch it as it airs. I watched the first season when it had already all been released, and there were no other seasons yet. Then I got back into it a month ago, and season 4 is already completed and stuff. Season 5 is going to be so hype.
Yeah, I also feel that Deku is telling about his life to someone... I wouldn't be surprised if he passes one for all to another successor after the series finale...

It's not funny at all ,if you really understand the meaning of why his running , you'll be emotional...his running towards his goals and Ideals , the tripping part was to represent that life is not a straight line ,there will be bumps (ups and downs) ,if you fall you need to get back up and continue running.

My sister was a baby when this ending came out. one day, while watching an episode, she got really fussy and continuously replaying the ending calmed her down for like an hour. A few months ago, i put the ending on to listen to and she walked in and said "oh i know that one" i turned into a puddle

This intro is honestly so beautiful. I like to think as he is running towards his future, either his life quirkless or as a hero. That star was the sadness he felt for having no quirk, but as the morning rises, which is supposed to be All Might in my mind, he is now going down the path of being hero, just like the trail at the end, and the rising sun symbolizes his future of greatness as the "new" All Might. This is probably all wrong, but I like to think of it like that in my head.

Not sure if you're being sarcastic or not. Though, I'll admit compared to the rest of the show, this is definitely weaker animation.
+gameb9oy the animation isn't weak, it's just unique, although that's my opinion. I think this type of quality animation goes really well with this kind of story and it will really show when there's more action.

I think that this ending is pretty important. If you noticed, the star that Deku is running for is All Might’s star and he keeps getting closer. The closer he gets, the beat gets faster and the All Might Star is the being the greatest hero in the world AKA acheiving his dream. And in the end, theres are footprints. The footprints are the ways that he acheived his dream:)
