There are a lot of events like raids and coop. You can get cc from pvp as well
*Story event missions give you a good payout for 1000 cc each
Pvp rank
*Tournament of power gives you 250 for completing it
*Every 14 days you'll get 700 ish cc if you complete all of your dailies
*raid events offer up to around 7-800 cc
