@@Tektabyte He moved from Japan when he was like three, and considering how long it takes to learn Japanese, even for children born there, the fact that he would've never gone to public school since he was too young, and considering his mother mostly ignored him and definitely wouldn't try to teach him, I'd say that unless he learned it when he was older to try and get in touch with his roots or something, he probably can't speak it. Maybe he remembers a little but he certainly wouldn't be able to read it. Since they would be in America he might be speaking English though. English is a language spoken worldwide, so it'd be useful for a mob boss to know, plus America has its own mafia groups he'd likely want to negotiate with.

One criticism I would have for this, is that Giorno becomes the head of the Italian Mafia, not only would he not show up alone, but It would make a lot of sense for his character to gain considerable intelligence gathering abilities through his mafia networks, and would likely spend some time figuring out more about stands, which would lead him to learn more about Dio, the other JoJo's and the Speed Wagon foundation
Honestly, they could have just wrapped everything up nicely, Jotaro can finally retire and stop trying to save the world, and repair his relationship with Jolyne and his wife, Jolyne is free, Hermes and Anasui are alive, etc. It could be a satisfying wrap up of character arcs, where there's not much else to be stopped. Then boom, Steel Ball Run continues as normal.

I always wanted to see a scenario where one of the JoJo's became the main villain of the next JoJo's part. Not necessarily because they turned evil but because of a series of misunderstandings, and I always thought Giorno would be the perfect candidate for that.

Jojo is known for constantly coming up with convenient plot devices to beat otherwise unstoppable villains. And while Araki didn't write it, Eyes of Heaven has already had Stands stronger than GER come up. If Giorno became an antagonist that needed to be beaten, a way to defeat him would definitely show up.

Actually I got it wrong. While Eyes of Heaven isn't canon, it was written by Araki. My point on Giorno as an antagonist does still stand though. Whether one interprets it as GER getting nerfed instead of GER being surpassed, the result remains (GER loses and is considered the weaker stand) remains the same.

I always thought that it would have been perfect for Giorno to show up when C-moon began to change gravity and turned the road on its side. Since Giorno would be unaffected by C-moon with GER Araki could have recreated the panel of Dio walking up the walls of the Joestar mansion but with Giorno on the road, that would have been badass.
It would’ve been thematically appropriate considering Giorno being Dio‘s son (unless there’s more) and that walk up the road would probably cause Pucci to be in some awe.

Sexy Zombie Roo Even though Giorno was referenced they don't know about his true power. Very few people do, in fact 1 of the 4 (if you include a turtle) is currently dying right now. So unless Giorno went to America to show off his power in stone ocean then he can't claim the title of the strongest stand user.
Originally, before finishing Stone Ocean, I assumed Giorno is the one who resets the universe, and when Giorno was mentioned it made me even more sure of it, I imagined that Pucci succeeds and creates a new universe and in order to save everyone who died Giorno has no choice but to reset the universe.
I’d love if when C-moon’s gravity flipped, Giorno stayed on the ground. Pucci flips gravity, everyone else goes flying. Giorno is casually strolling down to Pucci and Pucci is just in awe. He tries to attack Giorno, but GER happens. He is in disbelief, realising this is a son of Dio. Seeming more like a reincarnation of DIO, considering how powerful he is. Then Giorno kills him and the part ends.
The reason he wasn’t in part 6 was because there wouldn’t be any part.

My hope is that when David Productions finally gets around to Stone Ocean, during the finale before the world resets we see Giorno and the gang in Italy, older and wiser, we see what Josuke is up to in Morioh, and we see Shizuka in New York, just a few quick cutaways of them reacting as the world begins to reset. If Giorno Wasnt in Part 6 and the universe got reset that Giorno and Emporio would be the only ones who knew what happened, simply because giorno couldnt be affected. They could make part 9 about them trying to fix the universe

The universe resetting does not harm Giorno. So GER doesn't need to use its power. In this case, I think GER remained the same (since GER is sentient), but Giorno might be an "alternate" one (since the Joestar bloodline is changed). Emporio probably got Heavy Weather in him, hence the ending.
Part 7 and 8 is a different story, not an original Jojo timeline. Part 9 won't expand it.

My head cannon is that GER already stopped MIH from resetting the universe and neatly placed Stone Ocean in a different timeline. Basically GER just placed Pucci and in a death loop or in a parallel timeline.

It would be really cool to see Uncle Giorno come in and fix everything, but it would completely tank Jolyne's arc, Jotaro's character arc ending, and the entire buildup of Stone Ocean.
I know this is 2 years old but idk man, it happening at the end (and the fact that everyone dies and gets replaced by fakes anyways) mean that it changes nothing other than making a happy ending. It also makes part 5 relevant to the rest of the series instead of being fully skippable (it adds literally nothing to the rest of the parts in any way ithee than expanding on what we saw Kira do with the arrow, but even then it's in a different way)

the thing that you need to consider is that we're unsure if GER is even a separate stand. Silver Chariot reverted to normal as soon as it stopped touching the arrow, why should GER not work in a similar fashion? also we're not even sure how GER did the diavolo death loop so it's possible that it just wouldn't be usable against pucci at all.
@@player_8008 you forget how after Chariot got fully stabbed by the arrow it didn't need to hold the arrow anymore and had dropped/had it stolen multiple times and never reverted back. Also if you know how GER works it's kinda simple to understand what happened to Diavolo, the action of his death happened but the reaction of him dying doesn't, GER removes the reaction out of an action in the opposite way King Crimson removes the reaction out of the action

One theory is that GER can only reverse things that directly affect Giorno and itself. Since TA doesn't affect living things, this could be a reason why GER wouldn't be able to stop it. Even the origin point wouldn't trigger Return to Zero, as the origin point itself resets everything back to nothing, and bodies and souls are simply put back in place.

My headcanon is that Giorno was actually drawn to the priest like the other sons, although he had no idea what he was being drawn to so he was verry verrrry cautios (it's giorno lmao). And by the time he realised the world was speeding up he was possibly too far away to stop it. All of the stuff happening possibly had an effect and Giorno and he couldn't find out where anyone was, Florida is a big place aswell so he may not of known exactly where jolyne, the priest and everyone else was.
Although it would be very cool if Giorno came in and saved the day but that's a bit too happy for JoJo.

Since Koichi remarks about how noble Giorno is directly after, and Giorno tells him about the danger of leaking info from a criminal organization, it seems to me that Koichi decided to report nothing.
