I thought we played well. Similar style to the spurs game which we won. I think this is preparation for city. We are going to have to be composed and defensively solid to stop city from scoring. Last season he was our next prolific player after saka and all our fans keep saying he is best as a super sub. In the game against spurs, he created chances time and time again for martinelli which gets squandered but he's accused of not having much of an impact. The agenda against this guy is unreal. Zinny is the worst option because he's lightweight and squanders the ball easily. Trossard protects the ball better and is good in tight spaces which is why arteta always brought him on to see out games.

Martinelli and Jesus’s downfall compared to 2 seasons ago is seriously worrying and needs to be looked at. Jesus changed our entire front line in his first season and Martinelli was our top scorer that season. Both are absolute shadows of themselves now, what’s going on! All good raving about getting the best of players like Havertz and Jorginho after poor starts to their Arsenal careers but we also need to look at players whose performances have dropped heavily! Martinelli is working incredibly hard on the pitch and running like a madman but he needs extra work on his finishing. At the end of the day he’s a winger and goals are more important than his defensive work rate. Just my opinion. Atalanta wasn't much of a problem in attack because of Arsenals defense. Also set up like that because of no odegaard for control in the middle, havertz having to play there as a replacement and a very good Atalanta m2m press causing Arsenal to go direct. City is another extreme and we have to step up again...there is no hiding place for any of the players. With Odegaard out for few months and no back up for him bought in the summer we'll be lucky to make top 4 this season. It looks like Nwaneri is the new ESR...Not trusted by Arteta and will keep the bench warm. Jesus and Martinelli were abysmal and Saka was well below par. Partay was a disaster giving away a penalty and seriously under performing. Havertz in midfield isn't anywhere near as good as when he is the striker. Arteta's team selection was, in my opinion poor. Why didn't he pick Calafiori and Jorginho to start , with their knowledge and experience of Italian football? The performance improved significantly when they were finally brought on... I think this was one of Arsenal's worst performances in years and only Raya's heroics and the back 4 prevented us losing. Atalanta wasn't much of a problem in attack because of Arsenals defense. Also set up like that because of no odegaard for control in the middle, havertz having to play there as a replacement and a very good Atalanta m2m press causing Arsenal to go direct. Stop talking about this transfer window that has gone.

I was supporting Arsenal before that game FIFA. I actually think our current fans think our players can run, shoot, and play the way their thumbs dictate players should do. It's a few games into the season, there is a LOT of football to play. Every game can't be 6 nil against a team you think you should beat.

With Odegaard out for few months and no back up for him bought in the summer we'll be lucky to make top 4 this season. It looks like Nwaneri is the new ESR...Not trusted by Arteta and will keep the bench warm. Jesus and Martinelli were abysmal and Saka was well below par. Partay was a disaster giving away a penalty and seriously under performing. Havertz in midfield isn't anywhere near as good as when he is the striker. Arteta's team selection was, in my opinion poor. Why didn't he pick Calafiori and Jorginho to start , with their knowledge and experience of Italian football? The performance improved significantly when they were finally brought on...
I think this was one of Arsenal's worst performances in years and only Raya's heroics and the back 4 prevented us losing. We were extremely lucky to get a draw and Atalanta just about deserved to win.

We were incredibly lucky to get a draw. Raya's saves and the back 4 kept us in the game. Dreadful midfield, thanks to no back up for Odegaard bought in the summer and Arteta clearly not trusting Nwaneri...he's the new ESR and will probably keep the bench warm for 95% of the season.
