Started my YNAB journey a week ago and loving it so far. I have been using Monarch Money for the last year and spreadsheets before that. I just wanted to say I absolutely loved this video. This was the 1st budgeting video I have seen where both parties to the relationship were ACTIVELY involved and I am here for it. I also love how many groups and categories you guys have in your budget because it makes me feel much better about mine being similar. You got a subscription out of me tonight and I am looking forward to following your journey. I am now feeling more inspired to broadcast my YNAB/financial journey on YT in the coming months.

I was supposed to go see the Wicked movie with a friend tonight so I painted my nails green for the occasion, then we had to cancel bc my friend got sick! I'm so excited to see it, Wicked has been one of my favorite musicals since 2006. Good luck with the pie baking! I can't wait for the Kenny special! 😊
I love your videos. I love the communication between you two as you walk through the budget. Also I learned something new that I didn’t know you could do - what are those view tabs at the top that say weekly, 1st-7th, etc. How do I set that up for my budget?
Happy Friday! Interested to see how much you end up for a month ahead for November vs. December (i e. Did you gain or lose?) . You could always change the category title to include or put the amount you start working that the beginning on the month as your target so you can keep track (i. e. Make sure you are still making progress on getting a month ahead). Just need to update the target at the end of the prior month to reflect what you've actually saved from the prior month before you distribute into the rest of the month's expenses.
