A different perspective: Anueng is not her friend's daughter because Anueng's mother is not Nueng's friend and they have not spoken a word in 20 years to each other, and even when they did know each other, Nueng did not like her. Nueng's only purpose in staying in good standing with Anueng's mother is to have continued access to Anueng. Nueng lives off of her billionaire sister and has always treated everyone exactly how her grandmother has treated people and now she gets the chance to treat her grandmother how she has always treated her. She does this not out of hatred, but because that is what she thinks her grandmother expects a strong member of her family to do. Nueng suddenly decides to go to Anueng's campus and tutor her directly after Anueng's father brings her to the campus where both of them see her sitting with Folk who has been tutoring her. This was orchestrated to happen by Anueng who is mad at Nueng for ignoring the fact that they kissed. It is a punishment to correct her behavior, but also Anueng wants her closer. Anueng never lets any negative thing done to her by Nueng go unpunished, ever, or it would affect her self-esteem. In the same way that Nueng records her debts to her sister, Anueng records debts done to her by Nueng. She is a stickler for exactness and works on an eye-for-an-eye punishment. While you would think Nueng would be more experienced in love affairs than Anueng, she really only knows the mechanics and absolutely nothing about relationships themselves. She would be able to pop off a bra one-handed in the dark instantly but has never had a single feeling for any person wearing it. Her relationships would all be physical only because she has no idea how to do anything else. She has a broken gear so to speak in this area that keeps trying to engage for Anueng, but the broken gear just slips, leaving her once again in a one-night stand and very much alone in the morning. Anueng knows Nueng is broken because she is broken in a similar, but different way which I can't say anything about here. After all, it hasn't happened yet in the series.
