As a Sixer's fan, when Sixer's fans were excited about this, I wondered if I had been transported to alternate universe where Paul George and Joel Embiid have been healthy their whole careers and actually showed up in the playoffs. How could anyone not have expected this?

Paul George should be a bench player at this point in his career. Teams need to be minimizing the opportunities for him to get injured. Kawhi and Embid too. At some point, lack of availability needs to outweigh talent and these teams need to stop paying these guys these insane contracts to not play. I mean, they can do what they want honestly, but it does feel like sometimes better talent is pushed out or missed because there isn't enough cap space because its wasted like this.

This is the only sport I've seen atheletes get hurt this often, and it only means one thing their bodies aren't conditioned well enough.
NFL is a by far more physical game than NBA, and their players get injured far less. Because they train and train very hard.
