Awesome brother Rich looked like a good time at the skate park. Didn’t realize how massive that place is. The DR8 is definitely an awesome kit from Basher Queen. And I’m with you hopefully somebody comes out with some more bodies. Love the fuel tubing on the roll cage definitely needed for some of those concrete rollovers. Good call on going to the skate park. I could see the trees in the background blowing pretty good. Sending it Big might’ve made you go off course and you could’ve hit another rock lol. As always, Rich another great video love the close-ups and definitely one tough monster. Thanks so much Brother Aldo 👊. The bigger park is fairly massive. First time there with the Talion DR, but she felt killer overall 👌. It was windy AF out with Horace and Mike and the Mega ramp just didn't make sense 😂. Super stoked they both had their first bash at the skatepark and got a feel for the fun!!! It's a whole different world in the concrete jungle. The steel coping can do a serious number on these rigs 😂. Truly appreciate it Brother 🍻
Such an awesome body. I would love to have that on my Kraton. Rich, do you have issues with screws bending/breaking with the aluminum diff housings? I still run plastic, I dont see a reason to upgrade them. I also dont bash hard though.
Thank you Brother. I replace any hardware that I notice bent or tweaked. Most importantly, I run grade 12.9 fasteners from Monsterbolts.com and check for snugness before every bash. The aluminum bulkheads serve a fantastic function with harder bashing. They don't warp, crack, or strip keeping the internal gears mated properly and keep dirt out of the gearcase. They pay for themselves over time.
I actually have one of these. Drove it once and took the conversation off and sold the talion by its self. I don’t need 3 Talions lol. Ok, I actually have the FSR Adom that is Kimberly’s import. I have the body mounting kit and slapped them together. Didn’t wanna destroy a limited body so I took it apart. I haven’t even driven the Adom lol
Thanks Pete 🤙. The Typhon is such a ripper!!! She's on rails with buggy tires at the skatepark. I've ripped my share of LP's at the sidewall. A dab of BSI IC-2000 can save them from destruction 🍻
Thank you Brother 👊. I truly enjoy wrenching and modifying these rigs to my liking. Stock rigs won't take the driving I prefer for multiple runs, but the upgrade path is another story. Upgraded ARRMA yes, but it's still an ARRMA by original spec and design. 🍻
Mad Max 100% 😂. I use the simple Tactic TTX300 controller and receiver. Does exactly what I need with great ergonomics in the hand and light feel. Same one the older ARRMA's came with before going with Spectrum electronics.
