One of the best skylines in the world. 💯
Pittsburgh the village hidden in the mountains. The Allegheny mountains is very close by including the tunnel there. So much to see in this city and so many good sites to check out there
I never been to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania i have family that lives out there
I lived in the Castle Shannon suburb of Pittsburgh in the early 70s. We moved there weeks after Three Rivers Stadium opened. My Dad's office was in downtown Pittsburgh. Last year i visited the area for the first time in 50 years.
8:20 to 11:20 is part of my commute--not quite the majority of it, but close.
I didn't mention this on the 376 video, so I'll mention it here. I'm old enough to remember when the road surface of the Fort Pitt Tunnel was brick. I'm not sure when that changed, perhaps the 1980s or 1990s.
15:30 smooth exit onto US-19 which is 1438 miles in length from US-20 @ Erie PA to US-41 @ Memphis FL
Mike, after driving from Maine to Floridia to Texas and Duluth you got any odometer pictures? Gotta be insane miles!.
I had a different car when I went to Florida in 2021 but that car retired in May 2022 with over 300K miles. My current car went from 66K in May 2022 to 125K now.
Ah, Agony County. Took awhile to get these built because there are few flat spaces in this state. Coming in from the north. On the bridge and oops, there's nothing but the side of a mountain ahead. But wait! Just when you need it, there's a tunnel! That's Pittsburgh.
If Atlanta is the Village Hidden in the Leaves then Pittsburgh is the Village Hidden in the Mountains.
Control city for Washington is horribly misleading for non-local traffic. Pittsburgh is not that far from Washington DC.
4 hrs/240~miles
There is a Washington PA, about 20 miles south of Pittsburgh on I-79.
Similarly confusing:
I 135 near Salina KS: northbound exit refers to Minneapolis (Kansas that is. Ten miles north of I 70)
U.S. 59 / I 69 north bound from downtown Houston. Detonation City is Cleveland. Texas that is. A good 1300 miles or so from its much bigger namesake
I 64 about 45 miles east of downtown St. Louis. Exit for state highway prominently displays Nashville.. but not the bug one 250 miles to the southeast IDOT didnt end up changing the destination city, but did end up adding a very noticeable ' IL ' I believe in response to any number of comments and complaints from miffed travellers who didn't appreciate the confusion
This phone is beyond horrible. Destination city. Not detonation. Gadzooks.
Not the bug one. The big one.
15:55 to end. War torn avenue
Lol: considering how bad so many people in the US are wrt geography, I wonder how many people from out of town have followed 79 past the 279 split and have wandered or mikes looking for the somewhat bigger Washington aka DC
Wandered for miles. Pos phone.
What’s “Mileage Description?”
i saw that as well! perhaps a Typo? or is the channel name going to be changed
😂
Pittsburgh looks very small.
Traffic traffic and more traffic. Pittsburgh is dirty and grey looking in the winter.
