I’ve personally witnessed a few players going beyond just “talking trash” so to speak…saying things that personally would get them hurt if said in person.
@ probably because nobody knows them and they can act as though they did nothing wrong…I know a lot of players that if you have done no wrong to them than all is good even if you point out the players horrible nature. I had the unfortunate pleasure of knowing a player who was normal at first, but when told not to solo a res on island got irritated but stopped, they were told when the res would be hit by the group, but fell asleep and missed it….this turned in to them insulting a players recently passed mother, wishing another player going through chemo treatments dead, saying disgusting things to other female players and no matter the amount of times and nature of the situation and amount of screen shots, little to nothing was done.
While in some ways I agree with you what I don't know is how it would ever be enforced from a practical standpoint. Aside from just disabling chat all together. And no, I do not consider that a viable option. Censoring words won't work as people can just mispell things to get around it (or come up with all new words). Manually requiring actual human intervention every time this comes up I also don't see it realistically happening. I'm not claiming to know the answer. Like I said, I agree with you. I just don't know what could be done about it.
I think it's something the community needs to do. We all know who these players are, but they keep getting into new alliances. I think we should stop that. Have people who are blacklisted ig.
@@Tom-AHOEven community wise. Implementation is hard. It's an issue for normal social media too. People circumvent words by creating acronyms or using special letters. Some people will likely go undercover. Have multiple accounts. They'll just hide their real selves and make multiple. It is good to talk about it but enforcement is hard because as you said people hide behind screens. They'll hide their identity to spew more toxic stuff. Because the game isn't necessarily attached to their faces and real names. 🤔
Thank you from the behalf of my family and children who play this Game, as soon as CSC openes we are leaving this server we are currently on, as a r5 i had to demote a officer to r0 due to another player getting who had a higher honor level than him, this player went out and demolished 18 of our towers before I came online, Then he launched a a pile of Vulgar and disrespectful comments towards my wife and my teenage children who play the game graphically saying what he would like to do with my wife and children, this player is a repeat offender to the devs, Here in australia they just passed law that children under the age of 16 cannot own chat platforms I ve seen players talking about the best ways of making illegal Drugs. I joined this current zone bought my alliance there the day CSC opens we leave this zone.
I am so sorry. The arrogance people show in this game is beyond me. I have always tried to build a safe space, and to have someone you trust break that always hurts. I hope you have a great time on your new server.
Thank you, although i can really relate since the people on my sever are Japanese, and i don't understand their language even with Ant's translation, but i think they really need to do something about it I am also tired of the game, match weak alliances with p2w alliances, everything is just tiring
