I am SO impressed by how creative players have been with this update, and I cannot wait to see what future cities will look like with updates beyond level 3 burgage plots and things like big Medieval keeps & stone city walls, so much potential! Please check out Songs of Syx if you liked this game. Manor Lords was definitely at least partly inspired by it, and at the same time, Songs of Syx was heavily inspired by Dwarf Fortress and RimWorld. Songs of Syx is a top-down pixel mess from a graphical perspective, but it's a fair bit more complex and grand in terms of gameplay, and also a more complete game.
Syx is so good for that relaxing but massive city builder
-Report in! In Men of War Assault Squad OG i managed to beat Mission 2 of the US campaign! now in the Battle Of the Bulge...
if you have an infinite iron node you can pretty much just self sustain in the same region buuuuut you need to have that region be the farmland rich one aswell.
Terminator, do you think we could see a Medieval 2 Remastered soon, or maybe Medieval 3? It's so strange how quiet CA has been lately.
Yeah I’d love it mate of course. But who knows what CA is really up to
i cant wait for them to add more npcs like i am saying self sustaining ai barons that will rule the land and maybe extend it to the king's palace or something and add a king conquest setting etc. things like defeating barons, viscounts, dukes, prince.... it'd actually be much much better than a multiplayer update. I hope it become more warlike cuz now it is really just more focus on economy and after you grown out you just one sidedly defeat everyone and it gets way too repetitive and predictable once you know the strats
Buy manor lords keys right now! They're gonna scale better than the SMP500!!!
Still debating if its finally time i pick up manor lords. Is it still buggy?
nope only sometimes but that is fine since it is like when u like more than 400+ people in 1 town it kinda freeze 1-3 seconds sometimes
this game has castles, fortress or something like that?
Yes and no, you can build a fortress around your Manor with watch towers, but this game is still in early access. A lot more things will be added to the game this year.
Legit 😎
Need.Stone.Castles.
Manor lords is too underdeveloped. And more importantly - it lacks vision. It tries to be so many things but underperforms on every front. Well, it's a good looking city-builder, but overall it's just too simple (mechanically speaking), too wobbly (fe: pointless perk system, that just hilariously blocks progress, it isn't interesting or historical). But the hope is - it's just the beginning. In time it will become more complex city-builder, that tries to be historical amd realistic not only by looks.
Personally i would recommend the devs to try Ostriv: that's an example of historical city-builder with interesting mechanics (fe, it has it's own version if "burgage plots").

that moutains map is ass if youre gonna give us different terrain give us more or the same amount of land and mix that terrain in no one wants a 10th of the space to build in AND less resources its just not it.
