And now they nerfed it into the ground while not understanding the actual problem with bonnie all in the same 3 MB update. I mean of course, the eco hero that can defend ddts should make less money, not maybe like NOT DEFEND DDTS.
Bonnie’s income is what needs to be nerfed not her damage. Her existence almost completely invalidates Ben. Not only is she a decent attacking hero but she makes more money than Ben too.

This goes to show why Ninjakiwi's crosspath balancing for several towers in BTD6 is horrendous. A handful of these went through to BTD Battles 2, which demands a lot more pierce oriented towers at early game, as well as range being near obsolete save for a few. In the case of sniper, it's even worse than you think. The fact that it's ACTUALLY better at crowd control than as A SINGLE TARGET dps option speaks volumes on crosspath issues. AND DON'T FORGET IT'S A VIABLE EARLY GAME option, which is an insult to tower balancing!!!
It took me more than a decade of playing BTD to realize the icon for the Large Caliber upgrade for the sniper monkey is showing the layers it will pop in one shot and not a bullseye.
