Hey guys, cool video. I'm sad to hear about Roy Freegan passing, he was an old mate of my dad Bluey who sadly passed away 3years ago as well. Ian Shaw was also a very good mate of dads. I can't count how many now famous old rods I have ridden in as a little kid. I was actually at the second Victorian hot rod show, albeit as an infant, those old boys were salt of the earth hot rodders. My dad ended up having a small business called Mr Blue chassis for about 20 years from the late 70's. But when he built his first cars and my uncles slingshot dragster they did everything with an oxy and a file, that's it. Actually he had an electric drill and that was like something out of NASA to everyone back then. Good to see so many of the real things in one place. Cheers.

1:36 I'm not sure what engine was in this car back in the day...but at 1:32 it looks like you can make out some chrome head nuts of a Ford V8 Flathead if you
try to see into the bonnet side vents?
Also when people are trying to identify whether an OHV V8 engine is Ford or Chev and think that only Chev had the distributor at the back - this doesn't
apply to the Ford V8 'Y-Block' (of the 1950's and 1960's) that had the distributor at the back.

    6:41 That appears to be a Ford Y Block V8...and a not a small block Ford 289 Windsor V8.
